:-? good points @FreoHitman . Maybe its why the sale of BHB  has stalled ?

Looking at Black Heart Bart , why would you sell now ??? Everything has a price I know , But BHB has a good summer coming up for , and perfectly placed for a crack at the railways next season if it can continue in the way he did , he matured beautifully this campaign . For any potential buyers of this horse it just a case of how much do you really want him ??? Its really a case of put up or shut up . The owners are owed nil with plenty more in store next campaign - I'd be enjoying the ride

Just my thoughts on this ,hypothetical - Owner /trainer blueing, Trainer asks associates a to help buy out Owner, which they do, because they can , to trainer problem solved, now they can proceed ahead and recoup the investment if the horse is good enough, and a chance to do that quite quickly if all plays out to a plan

I SAID THIS NOT Piston Broke  - THIS FORUM SOFTWARE HAS PROBLEMS - far better programs out there PTT

id say your best bet is to take $1.70 from the sale money - buy tomorrows paper (or borrow Willies when he's done looking at the pictures), 12th Jan it should say - not 21st Nov (the day your call regarding TD became OFFICIALLY rendered obsolete). you're just another bare bum in the shower now Houdini. #stillwontdissapear

you must be buzzing. your first mention in the paper?
  • houdini65houdini65    89 posts
the trainer said in fridays paper he expected the horse to figure promineantly , therefore finishing 5 lenghts from cool trade would have to be considered a training  failure as it could not possibly be the new jockeys fault

the trainer even said in  the paper that the horse has won first up after trailing the previous monday twice in the past and judging by the money that went on , the punters believed this to be the case

i hope the old jockey has been looked after since entering the upper echelon of blacktype winning jockeys in Australia. might be able to pay back the rent money he snipped a prominent Ascot trainer for. until that recent success on SS would of been struggling. long way to Yalgoo. come to think of it - on paper he'd be quite a failure of a jockey. but hey, that's just on paper. the results speak for themselves. he should have a bumper season at Norseman this year!

what is the name of this topic , (TRADING DAY OVERRATED OR DOES THE JOCKEY NEED REPLACING ) WHO IS TAKING THE BLAME FOR YESTERDAYS BELOW PAR PERFORMANCE  , it is not willie whites fault is it as he did not ride it , the horse is not overrated as cool trade won the race and the horse can compete with cool trade as was shown on the 31/5/2014 race meeting when he lost on protest , so that leaves one other answer (training error / failure to get horse right on  the day) after telling the world on friday to expect a prominent performance yesterday

might aswell have a dig. not as if he's responded to anything ive actually said. just continues on with his rant trying to save face. unfortunately the verdict has been ruled in the case of Houdini

Look Mate as an outsider looking in , I think this whole fiasco wasnt well thought out for the new buyers - but if they are happy and confident good on them & I wish them every success , But to take pot shots at Willie White who I am certain is not here to defend himself btw shows a distinct lack of class . Willies record on this horse was fantastic with some great wins and will always be remembered as this Horses #1 hoop. Also I'd like to add if this horse fails in the Mungrup I hope the new owners have the balls to shift it to a better stable - under John Wilson this horse was a real competitive beast .... now it seems something is missing , the fiasco around him at Railways week was disgusting , something to me from what I see from my own eyes is wrong within the Team Trading Day camp still & I dont think it has anything to do with the former owner either.

Clearly the White corner is dark as kamahl over the sacking of their boy Willie and the subsequent events surrounding them now having no ownership of Trading Day. Whether or not they are entitled to be so dirty is up for debate but seriously he won't be the last hoop to get the drag off a horse and certainly wasn't the first. Fark even winning jocks get the flick.

On yesterday's run I didn't think it was that bad at all first up over atrip thatisn't his forte. I'm fairly confident that they weren't out there to bust his hump first up (despite what was in the daily Rag! ). Add to that- to my eye it didn't really get a clear crack at letting down at any stage in the straight.

In my opinion he didn't really have a decent let up so he might not have a good prep anyway but time will tell if he has success going forward. Just let it go White boys- you aren't doing Willie any good at all for his career by coming onhere andbashing the Christ out of the new owner trainer and you are just making eachother look like dead set sooks.

    Enough said

we are talking about the horses performance and the trainer , not the white boys just to get the topic straight

And his relationship with said trainer has what to do with you or us?. Boarders on defamation when you post about someone's private life. Is that the same trainer I saw him riding work for 2 weeks ago?. Seems the trainer has no problem with him but you do. Why is his payments your or our problems?, we all battle with finance's. Can you get said trainer to come on here, name themselves, and confirm what you have stated?. If you want to throw s@%t on a web site, make sure you can back it up with proof. The ball Sir is now in your court, be careful how you play it.

time to call "time out", boys.
I agree with just an L, be very careful with what you say on a public forum, it can come back and bite you very hard.
