Also a watch on #5 in Race 3 - Lightning Point. Originally a $425 000 yearling bought by Gai Waterhouse in NZ, now a 4 year old on debut and while under the whip in his trial behind Talk of Angels far from disgraced

    Hey Olivers ...

Good Luck, hope we both jag it.

The Last Leg is by far the toughest.

I wrote this before Insurgency won at Mt Barker last start.

"Insurgency won in March as a c76 rater and would've gone up in the ratings from that mark. It won another 2 races after that including one at Ascot. It goes into today's race a c70 rater having won 2 of its last 4
How in the hell is that possible? That's saying that it has gone from a c76 to a c70 in 9 months despite winning 3 times in that period! No wonder WA races are bottom heavy.
p.s He'd won 200k more than O'Reilly's Prize who hasn't won in over 2 years and is racing poorly, yet ORP had to give weight to Insurgency....joke!"

I notice he copped 5 points for winning that 5 horse race at Mt Barker......PTT power =))
.....and he wins again today! The handicapper has been very kind to that horse. He won in March as a c76 and has been able to win another 4 times since then, including 1 in town and only today's win was a c76, all the others were less. So he's had to win 4 races just to get back to where he was in March!

Mrs Rio reads this so all I can say is of course I was talking about the horse!!!!!

I also like Corporate Larrikin today...don't reckon it was hurt too much by the ride with D Lane the other day and the hard run up front would of done it no harm fitness wise.. As long as it pulled up okay - and I'd suspect by the fact its running it must have - I reckon it is right in it at good prices today.

Ordinary look when all the money is for Le Sacre and Talk Of Angels blows considering they are stablemates with TOA going hard in front setting it up for LS. No attempt to steady the leader at any stage.  :-q

Blizzard Express to improve in the next.

American Caesar not put in the race last run. That will change today at good each way odds.

Need 7-8-9-11 for the quaddie, 42%

Pateman ridden the last two identically, perfect.

Insurgency 1.50 in the first in a 4 horse race....should have been 1.04!!

Oh well, spend 42 and get back 46. Guess better than losing.

Did have something e/w on "Pins Perhaps" so that was a bonus.
