    Truly think people underestimate the relationship between the Willams and Peters. If Bob and Sandra wanted their horses elsewhere wouldn't they already be elsewhere?

    Come on TKK

    Dungy and I suggested Durrant may get a few of Peters horses and you said we had no idea.

    Ranger there now.

    How about giving yourself some credibilty and tell us if he will or won`t get anymore.

    You`ve mouthed off that we have no idea but you want to make childish comments about crayons  and ignore questions.

    Make the call, yes or no.

    It`s not that hard.

    You have missed the point totally but if I must only the ones puffer doesn't want.

    What did he treat the horse with though ? I must have missed the bit where a syringe was found hanging out of the horse's neck ?

    I just think that in the absence of a positive drug test to anything, that this case is worse than circumstantial and will not hold up under legal scrutiny. Unless there is something else to what has been reported by the Stewards, I think it is business as usual for Grant Williams and there is nothing more to see. Move on.

    This is a remarkable thread, even by PTT standards.

    Sure is.

    theketamine kid...I did not resort to abuse of you but you seem to be unable to accept any critique without namecalling... I apologise from my poor command of written English- I will try to improve.

    Also with the use of "mug" and "retard" - I think you should leave your sisters out of this conversation...OK?

    TKK I would not of thought A.DURRANT would really need any of G.WILLIAMS cast offs especially after he let PETERS go as a client long ago last time I looked at the perth trainers premiership G.WILLIAMS has a bit of catching up to do to level up wiyh DURRANT so don't believe that comment carries a lot of weight

    No doubt Durrant is an outstanding trainer and his record speaks for itself but the facts are that he is training horses that G.Williams is unable to get going the way he thinks they should be going but has run out of options hence why they are being sent to the best trainer in the state if he can not get them going then I don't think many others can. Again my point in my original post is simply highlighting that G.Williams has nothing to worry about in relation to losing horses to Adam because it is only horses that he admits he can not get going as good as their ability suggests. He would not be the first trainer who was unable to transfer a horses ability on the training  track to raceday. I noticed in the past horses like brave prince who showed a lot of ability have gone to the P.Moodys and the Prices and they to have been unable to extract any more out of them. So there is no guarantee that Durrant is going to get something out of them either especially Ranger. If he can get that horse going he will prove he is the master.

    In order to stop the speculation:

    Thoroughbred– Stewards Inquiry –GOTTABEYOU (Trainer. Mr. G. Williams)

    RWWA Stewards today inquired into the presentation and subsequent withdrawal of GOTTABEYOU from Ascot on 5 March 2014 following a report by the on course veterinarian that an inspection of the mare found it to have a swelling to its near side jugular with traces of blood.

    Samples taken from the mare have been analysed with no prohibited substances detected.
    Evidence was taken from several witnesses including, RWWA Principal Investigator Mr Phil O’Reilly, RWWA Steward Mr Martin Vickers, Trainer Mr Grant Williams, Owen Gilbride (Stable Foreman for Mr Williams), Ms B Palise (Stablehand), and Race course Veterinarian at Ascot on duty on the day, Dr Deryck Tan.
    Stewards subsequently issued the following charges against Mr. O. Gilbride.

    Charge 1.
    AR178E which states;
    (1) Notwithstanding the provisions of AR.178C(2), no person without the permission of the Stewards may administer or cause to be administered any medication to a horse on race day prior to such horse running in a race.
    (2) The Stewards may order the withdrawal from a race engagement any horse that has received medication in contravention of subrule (1) of this rule.
    The particulars of the charge being Mr Gilbride administered a medication by way of injection to the horse GOTTABEYOU on race day prior to Race 8 at Ascot on Wednesday 5 March 2014, a race in which it was entered to run.
    Mr Gilbride pleaded not guilty to this charge and was subsequently granted an adjournment at the application of his Legal counsel to seek further veterinary and other evidence to assist in making submissions in support of his plea.

    Charge 2.
    AR175(g) which states:
    The Committee of any Club or the Stewards may penalise;
    (g) Any person who gives at any interview, investigation, inquiry, hearing and/or appeal any evidence which is false or misleading in any particular.

    The particulars of the charge were being that he did give misleading evidence to RWWA Principal Investigator Mr. P O’Reilly when interviewed on 7 March 2014 by denying that he had asked Strapper Bonnie Palise to wipe what appeared to be blood on the neck of GOTTABEYOU at Ascot on 5 March 2014.
    Mr Gilbride pleaded guilty to this charge.

    In view of the serious nature of the charges, Stewards acting under AR8(z) directed that Mr Gilbride’s licence and approval to act as a Stablehand/Foreman be suspended forthwith pending outcome of this
    inquiry. The suspension of this licence does not prevent him from providing services as an equine dentist under the supervision and engagement of trainers

    Stewards adjourned the inquiry with respect to Mr Grant Williams to a date to be fixed to enable further consideration of the evidence tabled during the inquiry.
    Stablehand/track rider Miss B. Palise was advised that she was not required further at this time.

    Again......I question what sort of stable hands they are employing there, this is the second one to treat a horse on race day without the trainers approval.
