Well hows this for my opinion..".cry baby" Carter and Rio Grand"!
Natasha made a mistake, the stewards dealt with it, leave it. Tomic was an arrogant "shit" at one stage, now the public etc cant get enough of him. Many examples....and you are soooo perfect!
The damage people like you can do.....shut up!

it's a forum for discussions and opinions.....i'd take it you don't agree with mine...I'm comfortable with that....

The apprentice system I think has too many chiefs, L M is semi retired, J H and J C can only do so much, but there are also people above above them, C V and R F, now exactly what they would know about race riding and being an apprentice you could write on the back of a tote ticket, I feel the ex riders don't get to have enough say.

    Is always right? Cmon!!!!!
fact is he didn't break his leg, how injured the rider gets should have little to do with the penalty,
  • Aussiereds72Aussiereds72    601 posts
rubbish u should look at how long the rider will be of the scene for its a disgrace she should of got 3 months but like i said its my opinion

System is crap, p.hall can throw elbows and not get time, yes she took his legs out and there was a fall, happens in 90% of races mostly without a fall, most of which don't even get a mention in stewards reports, a month is plenty enough, imo

Disagree. If Dong was seriously injured or the horse had to be destroyed do you think she would have got 30 days? If she killed someone while riding like that do you think she would get 30 days?

Of course the consequences of her actions were taken into account. She is just a very, VERY LUCKY girl that this time noone was hurt.

Whoever made the cry baby comment, how juvenile are you, the penalty was light considering the circumstances and the fact that it was a deliberate action.

She was on a heavily backed horse and wanted to get out and came out irregardless of the consequence, I hope she learns from her mistake but there's not much doubt that what she did was both reckless and dangerous and at the high end of the scale for causing interference

Also you clearly can't read because I defended her supposed deplorable demeanour and said to stop crucifying the kid over what she may or may not have said on the radio, so in future get your facts straight and grow up as I'm merely expressing my opinion of the penalty that was handed out.

Disgraceful riding....the app system is so far behind any other state...should be sent back to trials for 3 months....

After watching the front on vision, i am really surprised about the length of suspension....She was two horses away from being in the clear (on the inside) and she angled the horse out to get her run. When she made contact with Donga's mounts she did nothing to correct her horse, in fact she started to ride even more vigorously.. No attempt at any stage to correct her mount..

How lucky were all those riders in this race???????? And the fact it was when the horses were at top speed when it happened..The vision from side on doesn't highlight just how lucky they all were.

As you say Radman.....this young lady is very very lucky. And that has nothing to do with the length of her suspension, I mean she was lucky that her mount stayed up...she was lucky that she only bought down one horse...she was lucky that she wasn't suspended until there was a full investigation into the incident......And in my opinion, we wer all lucky that no-one was seriously injured..And i don't mean a broken leg.

I cant recall seeing a more deliberate riding incident with no attempt to correct the path of the horse..there probably has been and i probably said the same when i saw it...but i don't recall one..

Now whoever wants to attack my opinion or defend her actions...go for it..I'm not going to waste any more of my time to continue to discuss this anymore...

Hey, Devilwearsprada wait until the female apprentices without permission to ride join the ranks. At a quick check there are 17 female jockeys, 10 female apprentices plus the 10 without permission to ride ---- making a grand total of around 37 females for you to pick from in the coming months. Good luck!!!!

If they did take into account the injury to the jockey and how long they will be out for then the guilty party in the P.Hall fall would be very nervous and be out for a long time seeing SOD walked away here and P.Hall will be out for a long time.

Geez you better get hold of the Sydney boys as they backed him to win last start and put some more on last start. Such knowledge they need no doubt.

    ^:)^

Hay List...the horse you back to run 2nd when Black Caviar is around...Handy horses get beat by better horses, Thinking Peggies Dream goes ok, Pffft what would I know.

I thought 6 weeks would be suffice. In saying that young kids can still ride at trials(like senior riders) when on holiday. Why not have a senior rider go thru there trial rides with them after eatch trial event and teach the ins and outs...if it was race day you should have done this or that. Who better to help NF than the person she decked...Donga??... You decked me by mistake but lets press on and let me help you. Donga knows she never meant no harm...it was a mistake(and yeah a bad one) but, who better to help those comeing thru the grades than those that have been there and are still there?.

Knowing Donga like I do...I think he would step in, last thing he needs is deja vue. Would you want it in your work place????.

There is a very large difference between the two incidents and if you can't see that, you're challenging RIO for the NFI crown.
