Of course the consequences of her actions were taken into account. She is just a very, VERY LUCKY girl that this time noone was hurt.
She was on a heavily backed horse and wanted to get out and came out irregardless of the consequence, I hope she learns from her mistake but there's not much doubt that what she did was both reckless and dangerous and at the high end of the scale for causing interference
Also you clearly can't read because I defended her supposed deplorable demeanour and said to stop crucifying the kid over what she may or may not have said on the radio, so in future get your facts straight and grow up as I'm merely expressing my opinion of the penalty that was handed out.
How lucky were all those riders in this race???????? And the fact it was when the horses were at top speed when it happened..The vision from side on doesn't highlight just how lucky they all were.
As you say Radman.....this young lady is very very lucky. And that has nothing to do with the length of her suspension, I mean she was lucky that her mount stayed up...she was lucky that she only bought down one horse...she was lucky that she wasn't suspended until there was a full investigation into the incident......And in my opinion, we wer all lucky that no-one was seriously injured..And i don't mean a broken leg.
I cant recall seeing a more deliberate riding incident with no attempt to correct the path of the horse..there probably has been and i probably said the same when i saw it...but i don't recall one..
Now whoever wants to attack my opinion or defend her actions...go for it..I'm not going to waste any more of my time to continue to discuss this anymore...
