    Is it just me  what was that on disco bling in a 10 horse field u manage to find asses.

    Until I see the replay... can someone please kick PH in the shin!!!  But once i've seen the replay,..... if it's as bad as it looked first time, i'll come down and kick his other one!!!!  The Jestpatim ride looked ordinary at its first view....

    Well i dunno Wilson; one particular horse i know of, when told it was in on Saturday and it was BELMONT! Newman Saturday would have been more like it!

    For their $150 a ride you would think they would have some sort of imput, as a proffesional! Horse should have been left in the stable and just give the jock his money as a scratching.

    As for the trainer.....poor owner and punter silly enough......

    Mat Nowland was spruiking it by saying it just needed an easier race, reckon it happens a lot when the commentators right before a race, spruik something or give a roughie a chance - the tab punters jump on board.

    Venetian Prince was a good thing beat, settled back last to be beaten a head or so!

    What a croc of shit...How can a horse lose sight of a horse that is a nose away from him!!!!

    I personally feel that this is a shocking answer to a stewards question...and the trainer should be embarrassed to say it and the steward even more embarrassed for accepting it!!!

    JESTPATIM (Paul Harvey) – Steadied when improving onto heels near the 800m. Following the race Trainer Mr D Harrison requested and was granted permission to remove the blinkers from the gelding for future starts as he was of the opinion that after it challenged and attainted the lead near the 100m it relaxed and did not race as competitively as possible due to it losing sight of other runners.

    not a croc unfortunately. Have a horse just like it.
    Needs to see the other horses and he'll give a bit more.

    the blinkers with the holes in them or the wide cup blinkers are also options.

    Coming from you Diva i will believe it happens..never seen or heard of it myself, but i will believe it does happen.

    In WA i believe there is more chance that the pilot may have forgotten to ride the mount all the way to the line....but that is just another absurd accusation to make against the WA Jocks!!! haha

    If the experienced and always right stewards are happy with the excuse...then all the punters should be also..

    he belted that horse all the way to the line, couldnt have done any more.

    did say i needed to see the replay again..which i just watched and you could easily assess his riding action as normal..there was a break in his rythm which is what i had noticed at a glance but that would be cos the horse jumped and took off..jockey steadied it and then got on with the job to the line..

    At first glance it looked a lot worse..on the replay..it looks acceptable....I admit my first opinon was wrong...how i'd love to hear a jockey say that!!!
