Jeez a lot of weagle fans conveniently forgetting arguably the best player in the comp wasn't out there for pies ... Tarrant vitally important to back six set up too. Contrary to popular belief, Pies got more injury upside than WCE IMO

I want some of the stuff your on !!!!

Disagree, Pendlebury a gun, correct, but other than that only Tarrant and Didak were missing. I'd be happy playing them again with Kennedy, Embley and Butler back and Schofield in for Mitch Brown, who was woeful. Haven't mentioned Adam Selwood or Nicoski as I don't know if they would get back into our best 22 at the moment.
forgetting a few arent ya. luke ball, krakouer etc

OK, Butler and Selwood are vanilla, arguably Hill has done Nicoski's job better.

But most importantly, surely you're not silly enough to expect Embley and JK to come in round 22 - 23 and have the same (major) impact going forward. Modern footy just doesn't work like that, the ONLY bloke in recent times to come back from long term injury during year and have impact late is N Riewoldt, and he's a freak. Plus the fact that Embley is 30?

And I think you underestimate the effect Pendlebury has. Swan/Beams/Sibebum/Daisy all get bumped down the order. You end up with Daisy, Sidebum or Beams playing on Matt Rosa etc. MASSIVE effect on game.

Happy partake in some even money Pies v WCE flag action (neither wins void). If anyone's offering.

Not that silly no. I'm assuming they are back before that and in decent form. Agree with you re Pendlebury, I'm not knocking him or Coll's midfield at all. But for the same reason if Kennedy is back, Darling, Lynch and maybe Cox/NN get lesser defenders. And Embley doesn't need to be BOG, but his experience will be handy.

Jordan why would you take evens ?? You can get $6.50 on some books about WCE winning the flag and to do that they will have beat Collingwood so if you were keen to punt them now take the 6s mate

I'd take a bit of it, but if I do they'll bloody win !

Might have to revise that call on Lecras. Know there's a long way to go but he's moving pretty well from the vision I just saw. Would be a huge bonus.

    Spot on Dec.
Seen the same thing and thought 'wow', he's tracking all right!!
You would think 'no way' could he play this year.......but just looking at that footage...well...who knows??
Wouldn't think they would risk it, but then again, maybe they would, if they finish 1 or 2, he could be a trump card??
    Three months time we'll know. :D 8)
