Well **** me haven't the afl got a job on there hands with this shit heap.
First of all watige and myself jump in a cab in the rocks and head to the ground, an hour and $115 ,yep you heard right we got there.
Catch up with a few fellow posters for a couple at a nearby pub and over we go to the ground. This dump is as bad as it gets, there are no pockets or flanks, it was the baseball ground at the Sydney Olympics and it still looks like one. 7000 people turn up and I reckon half were Richmond supporters. Gws supporters around me did not know there players name when I asked them and fair dinkum is was so cold and wet it made waverly look like a cricket ground in the Caribbean .
Even when I went for a piss it was a shocker, no paper to dry hands and no hot water, mind you it was so cold that when I turned the cold water on it actually warmed my hands. Lines for food were just silly for a crowd of 7000 and the joint is in the middle of nowhere, eager not to pay more for the cab than my airline ticket cost we took the train home. Thankfully the club put on shuttle from the aftermatch to the station as it clearly was not walkable. Of course the train loop in the city is out of action this weekend so at the central station we all pile into a bus that I reckon went via Canberra to get to the rocks.
Thank Christ we won, that is all I can say.
