Every eagles fan that walks through those gates should be given a rule book because the dopey phuks dont understand the game im sure of it as the commentators said they scream for every kick possible NFI

Poor ole Juddy, an out and out chamion who not only proved that on the footy field but also went up along way in most peoples opinions when he wouldn't put up with the crap that was going on at the eagles at the time and left with his integrity intact. And instead of honouring one of your past chamions every time he comes here and plays you lot give him a hard time. :( Most definately the best player whoever pulled on an eagles jumper barr none

Maybe you could also point out where I was whinging as I have the eagles in my 4 team multi and I picked them in my tipping, I certainly wanted them to win but what I can't abide is inept umpireing which is the norm lately, and that game I watched tonight bordered on criminal. :?

Free kicks are paid week in week out whether they are there or not it is what it is stop using free kicks as reason teams win or lose cause that's utter crap, everything evens itself out over the course of the year. Yes we probably have had the rub of the green on the free kick count but it's about interpretation by the guys officiating if you don't agree with it too bad and if players can exploit situations to get free kicks or 50m penalties good luck to them it's all about the result at the end of the day.
The whole Carlton formline is on the nose IMO, never seen a team fumble so much (Cats) yet still win, hell even the Purples should've beaten them earlier in year when they were up and going. They're very good at spreading forward of contests . . . which is useless if ya don't win the contest first.
Juddy has lost about 9 yards of pace from his WCE days, its gonna be really interesting to see how he finishes his career. Unlike a lot of other gun mids he can't mark for shite and is a terrible shot at goal, so there's no chance of him moving permaforward like a Riccuito or Jarman. He's basically gonna have to resort to only being an inside grunter feeding it out, he simply don't have the toe to burst away from contests anymore. The inside role is pretty taxing on an older body. I actually don't think the end is too far away for Juddy, I'm tipping he'll retire in a year or two (not sure when his contract is up).
Saw Shuey cop a few decent knocks to the head in tackles . . . wonder how long it is before he rethinks his 'tactic'. He could be a pure gun player, instead he's chosen a different path, that of a gun player that everyone but WCE fans has a distaste for. With social media these days abuse can be a lot more affronting, tough for a young bloke to cop (check out his mentions on twitter). And I doubt he has that Langdon/Ballantyne like personality that feeds off the hatred of others. Interesting to see how it plays out.

That Jack Darling incident where he got tackled around the ribs and threw his head back feigning high contact is a blight on the game. I hope he cops a large fine for it. Obviously it's not the smaller guys that practise staging for high contact....they just do a better job than Darling :oops:

And re not having any football knowledge. I actually agree with your points on Judd and Shuey, in fact I said the exact same thing to a mate at the footy last night re Judd, as we were talking about whether he could go forward like Voss did towards the end. Early in his career Judd was a very good contested mark and often took them above his head but for whatever reason (confidence/injuries) just seems to have lost that ability. Anyway both of us must have no idea!
There has been numerous posts (between Dockers) talking about our many list issues. Ie the human collosus Duffield, who hopefully has been weeded out. Actually I'd go as far to say we've made more posts about us than we've made about WCE.
Nic Natanui has a way of delivering the ball either to himself or to Kerr with natural ease!
The Judd booing is disrespectful - and you will find that most eagles supporters would not boo him - maybe last night is not a good example, but you have to say he was targetted last night and reacted in a manner that he should have been mature enough to overcome.
Judd deserves respect for what he did for WC - and I would not boo the bloke, actually there are very few players I would ever boo!
Jack Darling's action was disgraceful last night (I'm an eagles supporter), but that is not needed in our game - head to England if you want to play soccer! He needs to pull his head out of his a*#e! He has stacks of talent, but that type of behaviour doesn't impress anyone and makes you a joke!
