    PG got a good decision last week & bad 1 this week..

    That is what happens when you give the opposition the majority of possession, you always chase & have to make tackles thus only conceding yellow cards & free kicks.

    Never seen a team get the refs decision from making a tackle.

    And I thought PG would finish bottom & coach sacked before the end of season :D :D

    Bloody hell, I am reading a few articles now & thinking what happened to playing to the whistle, respecting referees decision, umpire puts the finger up your out etc..

    look a this blokes article, you would think if he played cricket he would never appeal for those dodgey LBWs & caught behinds or playing AFL & when the ball goes through for goal waved his hands around as if he touched it etc..

    I remember when I was playing cricket we would be on the sidelines talking all sorts of sh^% & somebody would talk about the various dives & cheating for an advantage & how it was a disgrace..

    I would then get on the cricket field with the same bloke & he would be appealing for lbw from his square leg position & would end up 6 or 7 metres from the umpire when he finishes the appeal

    And that was playing f-troop division

    Just got home from Brisbane after a five hour delay in Sydney. Am going to put myself through all the pain and watch the replay before bed. Fair to say we were not the best team on the day and Brisbane out played us the whole game. however you dont want to get beaten in that way.
    For mine it was never a penalty, fresh air by the cheat berisha... those sorts of incidents happen so many times in games all year, shame one had to be paid with 30secs to go in the GF.

    Was a super atmoshpere before the game drinking several beers and singing songs with fellow fans. The walk to the game was something ill never forget. both sets of fans really made it something special. Afterwards it was like we hadnt really been beaten. All the boys continued to sing their hearts out especially when the players came and said hello at the pub afterwards. Had a quick chat with both Fergie and burns both gutted to say the least. shocking the way the MOM was played out. Burns was best and that was clear to see.

    One thing i will always remember is the Roar fans coming up to us after the game, shaking our hands and saying sorry for what was a terrible call on us...

    Great effort by the lads to get this far, Bring on Next season...

    Bookmakers Sportsbet decided to refund all bets placed on Glory to win the title, including those placed earlier in the season.
    Dubbing the decision the "justice refund", Sportsbet said the match was decided by a controversial decision and anyone who bet on a draw at the end of regular play would also get a refund.

    Pretty much spot on, if Miller does not make contact with Berisha PG would of been relying on a miracle save

    And the field better have grass on it in June

    As much as it pains me to say it after watching that Miller has made contact which has initiated the ball just clipping his left foot moving it from the position were it would have been for him to volley at goal which is why he made that wild air swing as the ball would have been exactly in that spot if the contact wasn't made :(

    and if your aunty had balls she would be your uncle. you cant give a penalty on a chain of events such as that. reminds me of a certain railway stakes... maybe the ref could get a gig with the stewards here..

    watched it several times since getting home. no way was it a pen... maybe im looking through purple glasses but i cant see how it could be given. far from clear cut and even with the replays its not a certainty!! how about berisha being offside as well...

    So the referee makes a correct decision & sportsbet give a refund... need more referees to make a decision in the last minute

    Appears to be very out of date.
    Bobby Dazzlers for eg has been gone for a couple of years ?

    An overestimation Jordan in my opinion and as far as the goal goes for him it was an average kick which most goalkeeper suitably placed would have saved and indeed that keeper should have done better.

    I'm sure others in the team will benefit from his experience but I wouldn't get carried away with his efforts so far. He looks in cruise mode at the moment and possibly that's the level that may suffice for the season.

    I havent posted all season but thought id come and offer my congratulations to tivers on getting his wish.
    im no great fan of fergie but i think he has been a bit harshly dealt with. the players have simply been terrible. With little pressure put on them by media and fans. Was there any danger of one of them hitting the back of the net? Vukovic has been terrible all season, with his costly errors costing us points. It had probably gone beyond fergie being able to turn this around so i do somewhat agree with him being asked to leave.

    Players once again leaving midseason, well if the directive from upstairs is to cut costs players will leave even if you do offer them contracts for next season. you cant tell me that mehmet and Van denbrink are better off playing in thailand and india, money wise perhaps. we see it so often now that players leave to play in these small leagues, come back and say it was not a wise move.

    anyways onwards and upwards from now on.
