Oh no........were GONE!!! The last line does it for me!

    Tip Of The Day

The Chris Gangemi trained Werd will carry the tag as the Perth Racing tip of the day at Belmont Park this Saturday, when he makes his return to racing in the National Jockey Celebration Day Handicap (1000m).

The son of Hussonet has had two trial outings since returning from a break and on both occasions he has impressed onlookers with convincing wins.

Werd ran a gallant second behind Waratah's Secret first up last time in and on the strength of his trial performances he should just blow rivals apart.

Talented apprentice Michael Grantham will take the ride on Werd and bring his weight down to 58kg after his claim.

Playeronline.com.au has Werd as the $1.80 favourite, but it is a 'fill up' job.

    Put in take out!

Just one for me today and at longer odds and in a tough open race.

R8 I AM LUCKY: Forget this horse's last two starts.. stumbled out of the barrier tailed off and then last start.. well Whiting is still looking for a run with a handful of horse. Though better at 2000 it should run on strongly to be in the finish.

Werd needs to foght back for the punters here bookies having a fill up on Nine Tenors gave up without a yelp and Moneghetti brick of a horse looks to have resented inside running head case.

Just watched the Tom Waterhouse thing. Nice little collect for someone! Then I watched a few archieves of the big bets for the day. You'd think everytime someone had a bet it won! What about some of the big losers Tom or are you just running a charity???

    Go The Other Harv!

My sub for Crispiano being scratched is MCTANGO.

I think Mctango is unders, however the booking and claim of Kyra is a massive plus and from 1 hopefully can get a cushy run in the lead and boot away

Thanks Rot8in, a most satisfying result to get on my phone when I was getting off the plane in Derry, Nth Ireland. This filly is the first I have purchased for a client that has won on a Saturday in a full race.

She was passed in, and I was taken with her and paid the asking price of $15,000 on behalf of Alan & Birgitt. I still remember Alan ringing me when she arrived and said "you said small, this is tiny". But she just looked a ready to run horse. In running second first up on a Saturday, then being taken out of the race where Knuckey almost fell off in the Gimcrack, and subsequently went shin sore.

Monday's trial was outstanding. I am very surprised with the TAB odds.
