Think D.Lane good value, next best Bivemark and Lawrence for me

Back Already can win the opening race. Forget it's last start.. big run two starts back and will appreciate the extra distance today.

Not the most exciting jockey challenge today.
Lane is $1.85 on NSWTAB. Looks a bit too short for mine. I reckon Kyra might be due for a big day, so I will be taking the $3.60.
Hall looks the only other realistic chance(but he hasn't won a challenge in over 4 months).

Kyra looks a cracking bet at the 3.80 in what seems to me a 2 way battle.

Silver Blaze hopefully starts the day off well

I see Noel Rudland has just got a couple of pickup rides. He might be the value bet now at $21 (although I wouldn't take much shorter).

    After race 1 I think D Lane has firmed to 1.33! :(

Yes, that was not what we wanted, although I still think Lane is very beatable.

i took some of the $1.95 before the start. i thought he was unbeatable, that was not even considering the 2 points he just got.

HMMM...3 natural frontrunners in the race and 2 of them ease out to last and second last ---the other one leads on his ear and wins on his ear...hopefully some questions will at least be asked :?

I saw nothing wrong with that race (and I did my rrrrs).
Favourite backers wouldn't be real happy with the ride by D.Lane in the 4th. Perhaps questions could be asked of that one.

4 races in and there are 5 jockeys on 3 points and 1 jockey on 2 points.

Should make for an interesting few races to finish off the card!

Also talking through pain on that race so maybe need to have another look.
Well done to Corey Farrel on a hard horse to ride in nutopia- I reckon he would ride more winners given the opportunites.

I only listened to this race but within 30 secs of the finish had 2 SMS's come to me about Lane's ride. Quite a few expletives filled those messages. Makes you wonder!!!

Me too. Just watched the race and in hindsight, which is a lovely thing, being on the best horse in the race he should have been happy to sit 3w with cover instead of getting so far back. He would have got cover with the horse on his outside pushing forward. Anyway, just have to load up next start.
