Apparantly they were giving the stewardesses a hard time the whole way. so much so that they nearlly turned the plane around to drop them back in esperance.

the real action occured when Ms Rose wanted to go to the toilet when the plane was in decent upon landing and went bananas when told that she wasn't alllowed to get up.

I hope the action of some apparently alchohol induced individuals does not get tarnished onto the EBTC who have had a long association with Skippers.

Obviously you haven't met Joanne. If you had you would remember!
I like her comment about the fact she comes from a big family - "there all mad and loud" Never a truer word spoken :P
Hmm...not sure about the normally a quiet person comment - she must be talking about when she is passed out!

Had the pleasure of meeting Ms Rose at the last Broome Cup. Need I say she is someone you will not forget in a hurry, she was the entertainment of the bookies ring. Even "The Weatherman" was impressed.
Hope to see you back again this year to "Dance on Board".
That's Joanne, standing next to me on the left. :D :D :D
  • Bahaha...... had to laugh at the head line ''Champion Jockey''

i went on charter for the cup meeting 5/6 years ago and on the flight back to Perth there was a fair bit if merriment to say the least .We had the trainer of the cup winner with a couple of cartons handing out stubbies to everyone at the back of the plane .
A stewardess approached us and explained that the charter was not licenced to have beer sold or consumed aboard.she also explained that if there was no excess noise from this area she would have no reason to come back to the rear of the plane and conduct another inpection.
    Common sense prevailed.
