Gee makes Flying Affair look the goods in the Karrakatta now! It smashed it by 4.25 lengths and it killed that lot today. The rest very average, Nine Tenors doesn't know how to race yet, but in saying that was a tad weak.

    I feel your pain tivers...
Drew the river first 3 starts... but ok for the big one.
BUT emergency for the AHA cup the other day, then got a run in the Bunbury Cup on friday, but bumped down to first emergency after Dash Incredibles wins on saturday.

Hotel booked and holidays sorted to not have a bloody runner

All the quicks drew outside, will b a mad rush too see who can get to the front! Will be hard to catch with this track being front runner bias

Any mathmatical geniuses on here ?

What's the odds of drawing either the outside, or second outside gate in 4 of 5 nominations for the one meeting ?

And The West has nothing better to write about than some poor soul who draws 13 for the Karrakatta !
    My heart bleeds............................

3 deep with cover will probably be a good place to be
  • 7 of the last 9 winners of the Karrakatta have started from gates 1.2 or 3

But if there is plenty of speed out wide wouldn't there be a good chance those drawn inside will get cluttered up and shuffled back?

possibly - plenty of speed may also gass the leaders and suit those who get runs through the field like Brava Fortune did a few years ago

6 of the last 9 races won out of either gate 2 or 3, incl the last 4 straight. (3 of the last 4 being gate 2).

Who's in those gates, and what price ?
    Worth a novalty at least.
