Fair work by the Willaims stable to get Battle Emblem to run that lot to a length and half 1st up over 2000m great effort also with Significant she has improved a heap since being with the Willaims yard now won 3 straight struggle last prep another Peters runner headed for big things trained by the Prices Rafferty won like a good thing and ridden like it also even $ was free $ it will be winning better races lovely pedigree has huge upside ,Peters,Pike and Williams are dead set killing them of late .

My opinion on Lovabruchill is based on seeing its legs moving fast but it's body going nowhere. Dead set slipped for mine. It would be difficult to appreciate frame by frame but is a lot easier to detect playing it at half speed.

Slipped for mine too. If TT says she slipped then thats what she did.

you have to admire how pike rides in a close finish!

It wasn't just the finish that was impressive - the whole ride was, he just kept the horse gaining momentum all the way, even when HM came back to him, he just swung out, no stop - start riding there.

That ride should be shown as education to young riders!
    Well said LL
  • LOVABRUCHILL (Troy Turner) ? Slipped and scrambled at the start, losing ground. Held up for clear running between the 200m and the 100m.

what about what I see - what about what Rodent saw - what about what stewards saw - what about what everyone without delusional racecourse conspiracy theories saw?

Sorry, coming in late. Don't follow the races down there much, but after all the posts thought I'd have a look at the race. Seems like she slipped at the start. TT didn't panic and let her work into the race, stuck to the rails, saved ground and she ran home reasonable. Didn't see a lot of daylight in the straight in which case they generally don't give their best.Looking at the form definitely wasn't an odds on bet.
Interesting to note out of a mare I tried to buy off Harold Parnham in Broome. Kevin Mahoney won 3 straight in Port Hedland with her the following year. Had a nice bum on her. :)
