Ascot Sat 15/01 Mounting Yard comments
West Australian Racing
I will be oncourse and going try my hand at positing a few mounting yard comments before each race in this thread.
Wont be much but will try and highlight which horses I think look best and any that are behaving badly.
All care and no responsibility for those who are following.
If anyone has any questions about specific horses I will try and answer

Watch out for the ones that take a dump as soon as the jockey hops on -have been told it's a negative. :)
Good one Della......ya "Wes wannabe".

Good luck Della.
Good luck Della.
Let me know of it's worth backing A.Pleasure.
Thanks

Hope you are joking.
My others outside my original selections were Volcanic Causeway and Jara, who both looked very well in the yard.
Still missed both quartets JUST!
The yard can work for you or against you from one race to the next. Guess some people have the midas touch!
Edit: Cheers Funkster, knew what I meant to say, just two too many coronas today!
Not easy to type and watch at the same time - especially when you are outside the fence with people geting in the road.
Could never have backed Canardly Miss after seeing it in the yard so saved some $$$ there.
Must say 99% of the horses were turned out a treat - with a lot of trainers on the gold coast it was good to see the stable staff doing a great job presenting the horses in great fashion
Race 3 - sprint race had 5 chestnuts in it - all of them were gleaming magnificently in the sun - would have loved to have got a photo of them together
