Got me beat where the money has come from, $31 into $17. The stable might know something we don't...
Pity the $31 is gone but

No 3yo filly has won
No RJ Peters winner has gone on to win the KT Classic.
4 x WA Guineas winners have gone on to win the KT Classic
Weight aside, I've been most impressed with every effort this prep FR, kicking off with the slashing 1st up over 1200m.
With every run its been building & building, so I'm happy to take double the price of the favourite (despite the fact its pitchforked in at the WFA conditions with 7kg relief).
It might just be something special - but lets hope we see some increased tempo tomorrow to give FR the platform to finish off...
am sure a lot of WFA Group 1's would have much less
You just forget how long ago 1986 was !
the Jimmy Taylor factor will make the difference in his 3rd attempt.
You can almost put a line thru the Railway form where the only one to make good ground was Famous Roman (God has spoken passed a few with FYEO aswell). Makes it a pretty good run. But his win in the Lee Steere was also off a slow pace. Maybe he just sprinted best in both races, who knows?
Colour Correct's lead ups were the Ascot Gold cup in 1.51.47, very slowly run and the Railway. Ranger's lead up was run in 1.36.25 for the 1600m. Playing God's Guineas was won in 1.36.21 for the mile and last week his 1800m was run a second slower than Mighty Rossa's race (as someone already mentioned).
Impressive jeuney is the obvious leader, but she's not one to stack them up and sprint away at the top of the lane. Then again, who is going to challenge her? There might be a few drawn wide that surprise by going forward here. My tip is Triple Honour will be right up there this week but unless IJ breaks them up, it might be pretty slowly run again.
miss condition & famous roman are flying, the factor is also a good chance.
follow them and you should win for the day
God Has Spoken, Colour Correct and Black Piranha for me
I recall having lunch one friday with a top jock..told me he would ride 3 the next day...that he did..a different 3 incl a 33/1 pop in the distance race. :x
