Barriers have swayed my opinion from the Blackfriars filly to the Blackfriars colt. Although drawing wide might not be too bad a thing with the way she can finish when ridden with a sit.
Absolute Pleasure has finally drawn a marble when it counted and has to be a big chance too.
I can't see Riosand winning from out there, although i've been wrong before

Sorry, but I had to vote for my girl.
    Thanks, Della.
I'm as nervous as a virgin Asian bride, marrying her basketballer black prince.

    The forumites may need to take a PTT feature race double;
    Kerrin's & Tivers.
Could be a few sherberts flowing if they both salute! :abeer:

If she wins, ask me for a drink, as it will be free.

    Sorry Wilson, forgot about yours.
Good luck to all forumites with horses running in the big ones!
These races are the reason why we are all in this game, good just to have a runner, let alone all good chances.

In the Oaks, a $25 ew bet on Heavenly Divine has firmed the price from $41 to $26!
    Good onya Centrebet.....tops!

    Absolute Pleasure's been backed from $8.50 to $7.00, now she's $6.50. I haven't had 1 cent on her.
I hope they get paid out. I reckon $8.50 was a great price.

Good luck Kerrin, I will be cheering for you. I have a colt by Trade Fair o/o Tip the Angel. I am hoping the Trades go well so I can whack him in the Yearling sale next year.

Is Miss Gai Flyer definitely coming? If so does anyone know when it arrives?

Can anyone please tell me how Miss Gai Flyer likes to race. I heard she is a leader. I can't watch TVN replays on my Imac. Ta

Have only seen its last start when it won. It sat about 6th and ran on very well, gathered them up and won pretty softly. Don't think the class was high but was impressive. Was at Mooney Valley.

    Thanks for that.

Tip the Angel was a sweetheart of a maiden mare ( so rare these days). Is the colt anything like her, or does he take after Trade?

Also, ABSOLUTE PLEASURE ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!
Best horse I have ever had the pleasure of handling, loved her from the day she was born, really hope she can do it.

Led throughout at its first start. Jumped fast in the Sweet Embrace but couldnt get across so was restrained and sat 1-1. Looks to have natural early pace.
  • Wouldnt expect that would be looking to lead in this tho - probably try and sit just off the leaders

Is very proud of Absolute Pleasure. She ran a huge race. The poor girl has very sore shins, so she'll be going out to the paddock. Bring on the Spring!

She ran a blinder kerrin and if she keeps putting away Timb To Climb like she has been, she'll be a future superstar

    Thanks Chris and Dungy.
I got a text from Glenn Martin this morning, saying that her shins are hurting her. She'll be in the paddock for 4 months.
Even though we didn't win it, it was great that a West Aussie did.
Congratulations to the connections of Motion Pictures.
But, to be fair, it was a huge run from the Melbourne filly.
