    I just heard Ernie Manning has got the sack too

    His racing news segment after 8am was something never to be missed - dam shame i reckon they are cutting that part out

    Never to be missed?

    All he did was regurge stuff from racenet, racingandsports and major ES papers. His local WA 'scoops' were infrequent.

    I will certaintly miss it and Im sure others will too

    I presume you get all the Eastern States papers do you? and regularly check all the websites?

    he did occassionally pinch a few snippetts from PTT and Grassroots racing aswell but I never minded that.

    Hardworkers like Ernie are pretty rare.

    Grow some balls and throw out some value!

    Tropical Fury on Wed, the race fav, in the tabform 3 tipsters had 4 picks each and she got 1 pick to finish placed :roll: Thats how good they are.

    Nothing against the bloke, just that other cats (like J Rodder or even Wes) could provide a zillion times more insight in a 'news' spot like that. Ernie's been hitting 120kmh half volleys through the covers for decades, time for something fresh IMVHO.

    Well I can only speak for myself but I will miss Ernie's segment.
    I actually used to sit in my car waiting for the end of his segment before I'd go into work.
    I really don't care if he was rehashing what was on other websites, I call that research and I for one don't have the time or the inclination to spend half my day looking at stuff like that.
    Darkshines, please, Josh Rodder???? Is he that clown from the Turf Club Website that states the bleeding obvious. I have got about as much interest in his opinion as I have in details of intra club practice matches.
    It has only taken a week and the show has gone down hill.
    Like the Eagles without Judd and Cousins, Racing Radio without Tim is a very ordinary outfit.

    speaking of Clint and dinner - had the two biggest lobster (crayfish) I've ever seen !
