    he looked and was a straight out 1200m specialist (before saturday) that was my reasoning and after his massive run in the asian beau there was a slight chance that may have flattend him for the peters.

    dont worry rodent we are all human and get it wrong more often than not, unlike the professionals such as yourself.

    IMHO Elliotto will get a bit further than 1500m in his lifetime.

    Lovely little build of an animal, real trier. Funny head carraige sometimes tho.

    I'm not blowing my own trumpet, just wondering what the rationale was for laying it at 1500m when it stormed home over 1400m at its previous start. Most casual observers would have thought he'd be better suited by the extra trip. That's why I was keen to know why GOM still thought him suspect at 1500m despite the run in the Asian Beau.

    Cheers, thanks for the reply. That's why I love racing. It is so subjective. We all get it right and we all get it wrong. It's how often you get it right that counts.
