I've been a big Umaar fan, but geez Simply Mak was stiff last time. Dilemma-time
Simply Mak

Hard to knock the favoured runners on the rest of the program, can't really see any super-shocks. Interesting to see the odds for the favourites though - they deserve to be favourite, gotta feeling at least a couple will come up what I consider to be unders for them though and I don't think they're unbeatable.
Might give Destino a sneaky chance at big odds.
JD pulled up with an elevated heart rate after its last run as well, but hey your money, just trying to help :)
horses that lead and win over Belmont at 1200m - roughly 20%
horses that sit 3 deep in the breeze and win at Belmont 1200m - dont know but guessing less than 1%
3 stand outs, 7 horses in 3rd leg, 15 times over........
kinda wishing i went the field and just a collect
I wanted to do field, but battle emblem doesn't win often... both recent wins have killed my quaddies
A few interesting notes from the Steward's Report
Thanks to those people who voiced support today at the track after what has been a trying week.
I reckon within three months there will be radical changes.
They are and never were a feasible option.
We, as a racing industry have pandered to a vocal minority, who should all be lined up and whipped twenty times with a padded whip and then they will realize that hitting skin is completely different to hitting a hide.
A jockey shouldn't have to count how many times he hits a horse. That is stupid. Why all of a sudden do we instruct the jockeys that you can't try to win. That is not the case but it may as well be.
They (jockeys) should be able to use the whip like they have done in the past. The change has been drastic enough switching to the padded whip.
These so-called do-gooders should be pelted with tomatoes whilst in the stocks and then shipped far away, maybe Singapore, where there is no pussy footing and if they want to kick up about someone getting caned the Govt will in turn whip there arses.
The embarrassment of the Ganderton incident last weekend should say enough and teh authorities should admit they have approached this change in a manner which isn't equitable to its participants or its investors (the punter).
The rules do not allow a protest
