we have lost another well known perth racing stalwart. kevin was apprenticed to eddie spence and as eddie said he wished all his apprentices were as polite and dedicated at kevin.

his best horse by far was m'ladys jewel who was the toast of (i think) the 1991 carnival, culminating in his railway stakes victory.

kevins daughter, jenine is married to well known trainer dave harrison.

RIP Kevin.

Came from last or near last on the turn and gave them windburn.

Underrated victory because it was one of the great wins.
