Anyone back Three Eze?

West Australian Racing
Just catching up on some replays from today and heard Dmac mention that the winner of Foo Trouble race 3 was quite heavily backed. It got up by a nose, good on them.
If you'd backed the 2nd horse Three Eze you'd probably have been annoyed to have gone down in such a close photo. Now watch the replay and have a look how many times the rider of the winner smashed her horse before the 100m mark, blatantly give zero farks for the rule. Annoyed more now?

If ever there was a time the stewards should step in before declaring correct weight, this is a perfect storm - close finish and way way way outside the rules.
Stewards report will be interesting. Most likely a weak as pizz fine and maybe a short suspension at worst. Neither will matter to Altieri, probably gets more from the sling (remember it was heavily backed) and will prob miss something like 5 rides over the course of a week if she gets time.

Shiit rule, I was on the runner up so not talking through my kick but if I was on the winner I’d be giving the jock plenty of praise! I’ve always said she’s one of the toughest in a tight finish when using the stick out of the females

Everyone just get over it. It is a guideline to appease animal welfare nuts. Fine the jockeys and send the money to the retirement home for horses but please stop complaining about it affecting results. That is on the jockey. It is their job to get the horse over the line. If they are a whip offender or not, you know that before you back them.

I didn’t think it was excessive at all. 5 strikes to the 200m, 5 to the 100m and just a couple of slaps to the line. She showed good vigour... it’s what I’d expect on one of mine... play on
