A humble non-punter, armed with a technological weapon, carey has proven that the Raceday format is all about peaking at the right time.

Unbelievably he is the second qualifier to win from the 64th spot before taking all down before him. Much like finals in sport, is the week off a delay in momentum?

Regardless his achievement proves that his words spoken over the many years on our discussion forum have not been without substantiation.

    thanks too for putting the comp on, and for the frayed nerves last saturday!
    i had no idea it was that much, or anything at all(thought it was just the accumulated betting dollars), until the last day or so, so thanks muchly.

    great stuff PUNTA, now i will have to start having the odd dollar on with you guys(via)
    wish me luck diva!

    pretty sure there are better picks than me on here though.
    computer just has one advantage....it's unbiased.

    i am a slow learner!

    but it was an innocent question, as we can't all keep up with racing as well as you do dear. :-*
    i am sure somebody of pike's undoubted talent would be swamped with offers for rides each season, so why could he have not won it?!!

    thanks too, for the congrats dungy on my getting lucky in the comp, it's really appreciated. =))
