did you blokes actually watch that race, had barrier 1 nowhere to go , had the sense to know iron boss and shards were going to collapse so tried to get off rails before that happened, and actually got himself in a great spot behind tarzino before the corner when out of his control avdulla on pay up bro being a serious jockey and being in a position behind kok and on his outside basically done him in, to me watching i can't believe he didn't get time... but to show you Joe  is a jockey that has got it did he cower and just sit there and take it and think oh well i tried lets run 7th, no he said F#$%##u and gave him back a piece of his own medicine and did well to run 3rd, if he had an unchequered path i think we all agree 2nd was the best he could've got so just give the bloke a break to me he got a big tick...

tolleshunt, Pay Up Bro had every right to hold him where he did, instead of tryin to push out Pay Up Bro I feel he should have been going fwd and followed the winner he was right behind it. Either way I still believe he would have only run a closer 3rd at best

Been through the sales twice (pinhooked?) 37k and then 57k.

Still has his jewel's - know nothing of his breeding - is he a likely sire?

Perhaps for an NZ market, but Vic Derby winners are hard to sell as stallions. Blackfriars is one, but he was a very good miler that was asked to run longer distances because the owner had plenty of milers, and he has better bloodlines in my opinion.
