Well our punt club is on a downhill spiral and we need a few miracle results to get us out of this mess. I decided to go through and try add up all our profits and see what punters let us down and what punters have been keeping us afloat. My results probably aren't going to very accurate but should be round the mark somewhat and I also had nothing better to do.   :))

Our Bottom 3 Punters were Chelsea, the falcon and Legless.  L-)
Our Top 3 Punters were hollda09, Lame and Loco.  =D>
Our best return on investment was H-Bomber bringing us in $1428 profit. ^:)^
Out of the rest we had 15 Punters in the positive out of 37. :-bd

Some people are yet to crack round 2 so a bit unfair on the tallys but we need something big.
i've probably mucked up something in there but was a bit of laugh doing it all.

    You've definitely mucked up on my results, I don't think I've ever finished in front when it comes to the punt :(

    right, wrong or unknown....its not a bad option to get the top 5 or 6 earners to have the next few bets.. 2 or 3 weeks of $100 on $4 winners will get us back into the bit of a bank..

    My suggestion would be to play the quaddie each week. No idea how to approach it or come up with the final ticket/combo etc but it's the best option for a punters club like ours in crisis lol

    My prediction that there would be $4.60 left for me and Blacks a Fake to bet with, may be the only thing I have got right, besides the missus of course, in a long time.

    Keep going until it we get through the order again. 

    Then based on that have a plonk on something straight out or payout? 

    Note** A bit worrying that Duke seemingly never got a go first time round?

    boys, its nigh impossible to get trebles and more in, be they wins or places.
    I knew a bookie who made a fortune taking..illegally, 4 all up places for melb. and syd. races...ie you could have legs in both states.
    the SP of the horses were added up..eg IF you got 4 placed horses all at 4/1 you'd get 16/1 for your stake.
    just try it one week..its not as easy as it sounds...
    for a bit of fun, and to prove my point we should open a thread, say for a month and anybody can put in their 4 places each week.
    how does that sound?

    Haha yep since re acquainting myself with PUNTA over the last 6 weeks I haven't landed a multi yet......keeping my head above water with the each way bets luckily !

    We had a bloke here in  Melbourne, Falc called Dookums Humphries. Funny name, but a genius at the punt.

    He ran the illegal 4 placed cards in Melbourne, and became a millionaire from them.

    That probably best sums up multiple betting to me.

    So I put together some statistics for our Punting Club. (up to date at end of Week 35)

    We have turned over $25,118 since Week 1 for returns of $24,076.55

    Our best bet types are W/P and 2 leg multi betting

    Our worst bet types are Win S/O and 3 leg multi betting

    Place betting is good

    4 leg multi betting is not so good

    Just thought it was interesting to see how we're travelling and which bet types work well!

    it is almost statistically impossible to get 3 ...and especially 4 leg multis in.
    ask yourself this...how many days do you back 3 winners on a normal day punting...and I don't mean betting all over the globe.

    Was asked to check what our average returns were per bet type @RIO

    Here we go, I can not drill down to every bet (as I compiled same bet types together each week), but can drill down to every bet type per week (as close as I can get)

    Average -$81.03 on win bets (from 33 weeks bets - ouch)
    Average +$67.10 on w/p bets (from 23 weeks bets)
    Average +$152.70 on place bets (only 4 total weeks bets)
    Average +$75.63 on 2 leg multis (from 19 weeks bet)
    Average -$95.47 on 3 leg multis (from 22 weeks bet - ouch)
    Average -$65.00 on 4 leg multis (from 8 total weeks bet)
    Average -$19.67 on 5 leg multis (only 3 total weeks bets)
    Average -$56.00 on Quaddie bets (only 2 total weeks bets)
    Average +$160.00 on Exotic bets (only 1 total weeks bet)

    These stats are up to Week 41

    Stats don't lie - Make of it what you will!
