Looking for the best place for data on all horses in Australia including all form, race results and sectional times.  Appreciate any recommendations from others here, I have tried Punters Paradise but it doesn't seem to have enough info unless I am not looking in the right places.

Thanks.

    Thank you Vorg, had not heard of that website. It looks alright but no better or worse than PP. I cannot believe that we do not have sectional times available from every race.

    In the US they have loads available such as equibase (at a cost);

    http://www.equibase.com/static/chart/pdf/SA100613USA1.pdf

    Or in Singapore they have all available inc video footage free;

    So we don't have any info regarding time splits in Australia? Or footage?

    why should we have to pay? The race courses need our support but they don't support us.

    Righto. I would agree that we all want every possible race form, stats, and data for any race in Australia, but you might also understand that there is administration and cost involved in compiling this info. Singapore and other countries (Hong Kong/China among others) have it very good with it being available free, whereas in the US and other parts of the world it comes at a cost. My gripe is that in Australia we cannot even access this info when we pay for it. Thanks to Vorg for the the daily sects website but blimey that is ordinary at best. And no vid footage available anywhere.

    can't agree with you - SING and HK cater to their customer and reap the benefits. Not all others charge for access to sectional times - take Japan for instance - they have individual horses break down times/ speed/ distance traveled as well as a myriad of other pre and post race data - all available - ( albeit most in Japanese)

    :-? The new gizmo they trialled a few weeks ago at Belmont Trials ( cant recall its name and the link has gone from CRIS) which showed numerous sectionals of each horse is a giant leap forward.

    Anyone have anymore info on it?

    What can't you agree with? Sing and HK cater for it 'and reap the rewards', I don't know what you are saying?

    to put it in simply Paulo8 understandable language -
    I don't agree with you that it should cost users - you are wrong when you say that outside of HK and Sing --other parts of the world it comes at a cost ! - Japan is one good example of supplying that info.free.
    in supplying that info free - Singapore TC and HKJC have very vibrant betting businesses.

    so they should, its a closed tote business in singers and hk.correct me if i am wrong but i don't think there are legal corporates operating.

    every punting $ goes thru the one tote system...very, very profitable!!

    Falcon you are correct but it is even more than that.

    In Hing Kong not only is it tote only but also all sports betting is illegal except for English soccer which is also operated by the HK Jockey Club.

    Japan also has a tote only operation.

    Guess you haven't looked at the (Australian owned) Asian Betting Exchange.

    Of course a lot pf people bet through various legal and illegal outlets but all I was pointing out is
    that the HK situation is that any betting not done through the HKJC tote is in fact illegal there.
