Can only imagine the rush when winning a prestigous Group 1. You'd say all sorts of things, well done to him. Best horse won on the day, just that the race left me deflated after the leadup hype.

Can't get rich on 1.38 but the Hawks shouldn't lose. I'd go Viewed as next best at the 2.2, streeted them in the bog in the Brissie Cup last year and get easy run from bar 1.

Did we get carried away by winter form again - re Bold Scene? I thought it'd lead throughout today, it didn't lead, but had a gun run and didn't finish off, even given the fast sectional. Maybe needed that run but the jury's out on him now.

Noske was great again. Went for an inside run on Timeous and succeded, then he either does speed maps or just tried his luck pushing Key Biscuit forward outside leader, because it got there without much effort and bounded clear.
