I could be wrong Damo but I think that's clearly the nicest thing you've ever said on here ???? All the best to you and all the other turf talkers!

A copy and paste of my post from another thread... seems to apply on more than one thread: I've had the misfortune of having to listen into some races recently as I've been driving... I can normally watch the races on a device or TV. You simply cann…

I've had the misfortune of having to listen into some races recently as I've been driving... I can normally watch the races on a device or TV. You simply cannot rely on Darren McAullay being accurate. It's a real shame because I like the way he call…

. Kiwi Chemist might have got mixed up,with the doseage never got to the Revivon in time,Eagles had a chemist, opposite to his nature he could play like mankiller at times. I think you might have got your meds mixed up Savethegame. Can't make sense…

I know the lure is always there to chase the dollars on offer while horses are 2 and 3, but there's a lot to be said for the patient approach. Too many examples of horses that showed an abundance of talent early, ruined by chasing the early coin in…

Wouldn’t be against scrapping the Gold rush and making the Quokka 1400m Why not have both? And I agree, 1400m would be a good distance for the Quokka. Maybe they could have a three race series, with points scored for each, then a bonus at the end

Even money was value I thought. For perspective, what price if Pike was on? In the last race too, mind. Then if it was trained by Morton, Willams, Grantham etc!

What is the current trainers leader board looking like please someone?

Who makes the decisions as to what gets G1, G2 status etc? Surely it is one national body so that there is consistency?

Wow, Keshaw said after winning on Rivercrest Magic that Mack Hall told him the pace would be hot. No kidding when the stablemate went like the clappers out in front. I bet the stewards miss it completely or is team riding allowed these days? True R…

Agree it may seem a little harsh but she was suspended twice in 21 rides and I guess there were a couple of warnings prior to the first suspension. Even though she was riding on the crest of a wave, sometimes the rookie apprentices get a bit ahead …

To be fair to the radio crew, and as much as I love WA racing, to be fair, there is only so much content you can produce Mon to Friday here, unless it is Pinnacles or Quokka season.

If this link works, you can see them all here... it is from the Racing WA site https://racingwa.com.au/racing/thoroughbred-racing/thoroughbred-interviews Thanks but that looks like city only, I want Provincials etc, so if you are trackside on the d…

It does look like the long-term industry families are doing their best to keep the racing industry afloat. The sale of TAB radio is another nail in its coffin. How the government can support the loss of jobs and history that is leaving with their d…

Matt Hill has lengths (and metres!) on almost all of his peers in my opinion

RWWA have an extensive media/public relations team, I think S.Butler is employed there to control and cleanse output, and others who issue press releases on positive swab inquiries etc. But am not sure they have any actual journalists. The West is …

The thing that really sh!t$ me though about Richie is, when he said how far from first to last in the call... Yesterday in race 6, prime example. At about the 500m- "Too Dardy about 10 from the leader". Fair dinkum it was 5 lengths ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM.…

How good is Richie Bell in a photo finish live. How good is Mr Bell at falling in love with Amy Jo Hayes? :x :x :x You would think on Irish day he would check to see wheres she from before she rode just in case she rides a winner. Whats the q…

How good is Richie Bell in a photo finish live. Doesn't shy away from it and seems to get it right most of the time.

I know that there are no restrictions on where people can run their horses, but fair dinkum Bob running his horses at Mt Magnet is bloody poor form. Pisses in the face of the pub test. Cmon Bob, be better. Leave Mt Magnet to the battlers and the cou…
