i believe we have been Zzzzappp!'ed Rodent, although i have no idea why.
nobody accused anybody of anything, so doubt it was warranted.
it was the natural reaction that any thinking person could/would make, and removing the thread won't alter that.

there was NO ACCUSATION WHATSOEVER, so you are wrong.

i have much to do, so perhaps you have given me the reason to do it, instead of frequenting a certain forum and watching posts needlessly disappear into the ether. Thanks.
not much point posting if it last 2 seconds is there?

I notice my thread vanished but didn't see the post from Carey so can't comment.
I will say though that I'm stunned (pardon the pun) at the lack of discussion on this extremely controversial topic. I still can't believe the story from thewest.com.au hadn't been documented here.

  • carey it wasnt your post that was the reason for the thread being deleted - it was well after your comment
  • Rodent - not sure why it hasnt been mentioned previously - I suspect those who knew kept it to themselves obviously

The little toerag probably deserved the zap but that is beside the point. The point is an elecrical device on a training premises...thats the crux of the matter.
I think there will be some very serious penalties dished out.....

He deserves everthing he gets, nobody in their right mind would buy something like that.... it only serves one purpose "to inflict pain".

I heard the worker had been caught a few times treating the horses badly. If this is the case he deserves more than a tasering. Apart from the fact that the animal should be respected anyway,it makes me sick some punk can get a job working with some expensive horse flesh and be oblivious to it.

This story has been around a month or so, was in the community paper about 4 weeks ago, before the court date.

Give him a fine and get on with life, kis has never worked so hard since the buzz

Its a huge huge story and just the possibilty for massive repercussions outside the obvious court fine and long term racing disqualification.

Anybody who has some sort of zapper on the site are in trouble maybe Edwards should use it more often as he has struggled for a while now .

should be getting 10 to 15 years if stewards show any consistency as these are the penaltys handed out in previous cases !!!

hasnt even been charged by stewards yet

if (and it would be a big if) they can prove he used it on horses - then yes 10-15 years

owning an illegal gun doesnt mean you get the same sentence as a murderer

I think there's one in the rules about bringing the "electrical item" onto a track/stable. Would be similar to drenching tubes in the back of the float?

they dont have to prove he used it on horses, he has already admitted it having on the premises.

its ilegal to have devises as such on premises or on personal, let alone to use on staff in a lot of trouble.
  • "Edwards said he would target the Melbourne spring carnival later this year with Guest Wing."

    Obviously not expecting a suspension

Theoretically, one working day before the penalty.
