R1. \'tabtouch With Cash\' Handicap - Scott Embry
Temporise won 3 on the bounce leading from start to finish before being overhauled by talented Sigley mare She's A Virtue. He returns here from a freshen-up and will be looking to pounce on the lead and hold them off over the final furlong. He is short at the $1.65 on offer but in a small field he should salute. New Time is drawn inside of him and may look to hold him out for atleast the first few hundred metres but expect the big strong Miller gelding to find the fence and win. New Time for second and Flytego a fast finishing third, simple as that.
3. TEMPORISE - 1. NEW TIME - 5. FLYTEGO
SUGGESTED BET - 3. TEMPORISE $80

Simon Miller will be looking to fill his coffers by the end of race 2 with a winning double to start the day. Move on Notice is one of the biggest, strongest and best put together 2 year olds I have seen come through the Ascot mounting yard so far this season. A very astute set of eyes told me before his debut that in his opinion he "needed a run" and would improve "out of sight" second-up. Many will be wary backing a 2 year old who was beaten out of sight first-up but I think this is one worth following. His trial was excellent and expect him to win this and move onto bigger and better things. Jevilla can fly the gates and may look to hold the favourite out from barrier 1 but if crossed should get a lovely tow into the race. Danerip's Girl has done nothing wrong in her career and should be there abouts again. Essayez returns from a very gallant Karrakatta effort and will have a large share of support with the Pontiff aboard.
5. MOVE ON NOTICE - 8. JEVILLA - 10. DANERIP'S GIRL
SUGGESTED BET - 5. MOVE ON NOTICE $100
The Jim Taylor gelding Travellin' was doing just that late in his race behind Rule to Wyn and Universal Moon. Once JJ Brown pulled him to the outside he hit his straps and simply flew over the final furlong. Looks a talented sprinter in the making and was probably in need of the debut hitout after a number of raceday scratchings due to minor self-inflicted injuries. Rule to Wyn improved out of sight with Lucy Warwick in the saddle and they certainly didn't forget to back her but left half in the bags with a deadheat declared but she should be competitive again. Mr Motown is a talent resuming and deserves respect.
6. TRAVELLIN' - 1. RULE TO WYN - 4. MR MOTOWN
SUGGESTED BET - 6. TRAVELLIN' $30 x $30
Already Famous is a super consistent galloper and you should lock the $1.40 a place into any multies. My suggestion would be with Richmond to belt Carlton on Thursday and the Gold Coast to safely account for Melbourne. $3.10 a luxury. Placed at his last 8 runs he jumps with only 54kg thanks to the 3kg claim of Jake Casey. Drawn to go forwards from barrier 3 he can find the front and control the affair. A muddlingly run race without a genuine pace ususally ruins the chances of Saxy Grace so here's hoping he can post an all the way win. Andy's Boy was 3 deep for a long way last start and can bounce back. Im Feeling Lucky has the best turn of foot in the race and will be saved for one late crack at them in the straight.
2. ALREADY FAMOUS - 7. ANDI'S BOY - 5. I'M FEELING LUCKY
SUGGESTED BET - 2. ALREADY FAMOUS $50 x $50
I'm sticking with Proceedwithcaution, he has been a good horse to this preview since the first time we tipped him in May 2014 so keeping the faith here. Ridden to absolute perfection last start by Ben Kennedy he can sit just off the pace again here and pounce as they balance with 300 to run. Should be ready for a mile and this should be his for the taking. Specking one at odds in My Bonny Lad, once described by Adam Durrant in a post race interview as "the most talented gelding in my stable", albeit while a number of his good ones were spelling, I was shocked to see $10 on offer at Mt Barker and he rightfully killed them. Has his fair share of issues but given the right run can figure in this. O'Donnell into the saddle for the first time is a big tick, definitely not without a hope. Carry The Nation will appreciate an extra 100m and being ridden off-pace.
6. PROCEEDWITHCAUTION - 7. MY BONNY LAD - 5. CARRY THE NATION
SUGGESTED BET - 6. PROCEEDWITHCAUTION $40 x $40
Very even bunch with chances galore and I'm realistically yet to decide on what, if anything, I'll back. In terms of early selections I'm sticking with talented mare Belle La Vie who with Lucy Warwick's claim carries only 56.5 and should be able to settle a deal closer to the lead with a smaller field and more suitable barrier draw. Was never in the hunt in the Raconteur when settling at the back engaged in a bumping dual which may have knocked the wind out of her sails. 4 from 4 at 1400m I'm happy to have her on top. Lunar Eclipse was heavily supported last start and after a gem of a ride from Azzopardi got the chocolates. Can keep improving and looks up to these. Properantes was given the run of the race by Turner last start and had to win after he didn't spend a penny over the first 1300m. Should get the same run here and be hard to beat.
2. BELLE LA VIE - 5. LUNAR ECLIPSE - 3. PROPERANTES
I'm tipping that they can't catch the Bear in this 1000m dash. I'm expecting Lucy Warwick to find the fence, roll along out in front and prove too strong. I gave a little bit back last week after my triumphant 20ew at 31s from the wonderful people at PUNTA and will be back this week to again cheer on the Pu Bear. Lead at a frenetic pace last start, pressured by quality gallopers Chinetti and Shengmu who both folded up to run last and second last. The Bear is in form and can lead this from start to finish. Park Lane may look to cross but I'm confident Warwick can hold him out and gas him in running. Dueton looks well placed to pose a legitimate threat, don't sack him, there is a win coming. Jest Envy Her was disappointing first-up but can improve sharply. For mine Seeker is the lay of the day and I wouldn't touch him.
5. OUR PU BEAR - 1. DUETON - 6. JEST ENVY HER
SUGGESTED BET - 5. OUR PU BEAR $40 x $40
Prentice is not normally a horse of mine, I have never backed him before, never tipped him and generally leave him out of my quaddie as a non-winner and waste of percentage, however, I thought his last start run was full of merit. When racing in restricted room rounding the corner copped a very bad check and was sharply restrained to keep his feet and slowly eased into the clear. I thought considering he hit the line strongly and can be one at eachway odds to round out the day. Another at eachway odds is Galaxon who is in arguably career best form returning from a NorthWest campaign and may well be aimed at a Broome Cup. Highly impressive last week and can go one better here. Many people willing to risk the favourite Highly Secret with a 3kg claiming apprentice aboard because she can be a hard horse to ride.
3. PRENTICE - 2. GALAXON - 1. HIGHLY SECRET (NZ)

Absolutely agree Runyon. Have had a little EW at $81 already. She was in season last start, which explains her poor performance. Hormonal females can be very unpredictable.n X_X
