Each member nominates One selection for Perth racing on Saturday at Ascot or Belmont race tracks.

The unit of $50 investment to determine the balance will be used.
If the horse scratched - the $50 returns to your balance.
Dividends will be based upon Starting Price fixed odds and tote odds – providing the difference over the year performance.

Analyst Bonus Prize - $50 - For any analyst that can have 10 consecutively winners (scratching not included), when achieved your streak begins again. Therefore a maximum of 5 bonus prizes can be achieved by any analyst.

I think with $240 left we have to do something bold to get the betting stake back to something that has an impact.

I reckon we bomb one with the balance this week at a great PUNTA price and get this show back in the road.

It was a 50/50 split over this a couple of weeks ago but it's too long a road back now without something radical.

This is a challenge to get 5 games over the course of the week for NBA.

The strategy is that there will be 5 investments over a week with 100% investment of the balance.

Initial balance is $50.

Week 1 - $50 - The aim is to get to this balance after the week $1,599

The odds will be $1.90

The line will be no larger than -5 pts for full game.

The line will be no larger than -3 pts for first half.

Chris, could you please tell me/us what the current balance is, and if, in fact, there is a balance.

Second question. As, without actually knowing, there doesn't APPEAR to be much money left, may I respectfully suggest the following option with the balance.

Punta pick a race on Saturday. We all vote for the horse in that race that we would like to back.

Voting closes Saturday morning 10.00 am Perth time.

The horse with most votes gets 70% of the bank placed on it for the win.

The horse with the second most votes gets 25% of the bank put on it.

The horse with the least votes which will most likely be an outsider gets 5% of the bank put on it.

If there are 3 votes or less separating the top 2 horses, the bet is split 60% on the one with the most votes, and 35% on the one that is second most popular.

If it is a draw between two horses, then we have 47.5% of the bank on each.

If anyone has any other suggestions, please let us know.

For Rusty and others. I did give a lot of consideration about having a multi.

My own view, is not that I would be against us taking a quaddie, or a trifecta, first four or even an all up. However I believe that these would be difficult because we would all have different selections and this would make it too complex for Chris to execute.

By having a simple win bet based on the two most popular selections and the least popular selection in a race nominated by Punta, it makes the process for Chris a lot easier and we know our return if we are successful.

If we have a decent win this week, we can revert back to the two members making their own selections next week if that's what the members want, or we can do this again.

You know what my vote is, let's have yours ASAP.
