Won its maiden last prep and resumed at Warwick Farm on Wednesday where it was an even money fav to get the win. Settled back as is its pattern an Tommy Berry seemed to wait an eternity before really pushing the button. Was closest on the line but not close enough. Obviously needs pace in its races and/or a jockey who can count in their head. But Brisbane was mooted as a possible target...

Up in Hong Kong a few weeks back for the international races after SHA TIN all the racing people go to this street full of bars ka fu lock or something like that. We started chatting to Tony Mcevoy (don't know him just started chatting to him) he told us his horse sunlight would be hard to beat in the magic millions on the gold coast . She was 20-1 when on the WA tab when I got home she is now 7-1 moral of the story move quicker when told one

Next up at 1400m have a good bet and then into the Caulfield Guineas. Can get as much as $51 for the Guineas still

First up was huuuge behind sunlight, off the track for most of the race and ran 3rd from barrier 16 beaten 2L

Second up race 6 Saturday at the valley, gets weight from competitors last start and reckon it is smart.

How impressive has this fellow been since coming out to Australia. Saturdays run was huge. $5.50 for the Caulfield Cup is pretty short though. but as the distances increase I don't think anything here can beat him.

I wish I knew which Derby, Hayes is aiming this Colt at. He is @ $41 for the Guineas on Saturday, The distance will be too short I feel. But I can guarantee you, there will be none finishing off better.

He looks, to my uneducated eye, to be a top line stayer in the making. Last spring he was green and gangly. First up this time in,was a real nice run.

He is $13 for the WA Derby and he comes here, He just wins in my opinion. He is also $26 and $7.50 for the AJC Derby which is great value in a year of weak 3 y/os. Prized Icon is the Favourite and deserves to be on his VIC Derby win.

I wish he was in Caulfield cup markets as I would be having a nibble now. Anyone know, who or where I can get on now.

Can anyone help?

About 2 weeks ago a maiden or 2 yr old race in eastern states (I think NSW or VIC and a provincial) had a winner by 8 lengths and with a last 600m of ~ 32.0 seconds.

I did not see the race but I heard on the radio and at the pub people talking about it.

Given the last sectional I am pretty keen to know its name. Does anyone know the name of the horse?
