Is it "sandier" or more heavy three and four wide.

Just would like to know from a punting point of view, please.

And just an old grumble - drink prices! Perlease! Service - perlease!

It is like a daunting chore to some of the staff to serve the public prepared to pay exhorbitant prices for often cool (rather than cold) drinks (often in plastic cups).

When it comes to customer service in WA - we are not doing well in the competitive entertainment stakes at GP.

Chris Lewis was tailed off on Lombo and then tried his bum off to get the horse back in the race and it was placed. Great effort by horse and driver.

I watched two other races where two 'comeback' reinsmen (one a former top reinsmen) were in a similar predicament yet never tried a yard to put there horses in the race.

race 7-2 Scary Servent-good draw in an average feild,should go very close,Abbey Brogden should get a good run in transit and finish strong,looks the only danger,Bettor Not Tell and Our Georgias Luck look place chances, 2-11-1-7

race 8-The Get out stakes is a tough one,Cheviot Hills for me on and each way basis,home track and should get a good run first up,The Kings Daugther is another in ok form and should get a good run,Spirit Of Sparkys a horse that likes inside draws but suited here this class,Jake Of Tara another that could win with no suprise. 1-2-8-7

*Thought that i would post a dog that in time the P.T.T crew may be able to follow and pick up some $ along the way.
Hes only a young boy with 3 starts but seems to show more than his fair share of promise.

He will do most of his racing @ Cannington but will be coming on back down to Mandurah for a few selected races.

He goes around tonight and i do feel that he lacks real pace but has the box to be closer to the lead tonight than on last weekes rain affected track.
Forget his time as it was just a night out

He came threw his last workout well as we are trying to work on the big boys cardio (breathing) with flying colours.

UNCHARITABLE ACT

Poor form on the track is something stewards deal with from day to day but Wentworth Park's coppers could do nothing about officials from the much-hyped McGrath Foundation snubbing greyhound racing on Friday night. In February, a massive $123,500 was raised nationwide by the industry for the foundation's placement of breast-care nurses. After the foundation was criticised for being associated with a ''cruel sport'' such as greyhound racing, not one representative could be found to receive the big cheque on race night. They have got to be kidding! Next year greyhound racing will go into bat again but a more charitable partnership will be found.

here are the expert tips for friday night trots

race 1: Seel and Print (would like to watch it first up but the horse just looks to well placed from the draw. If I was confident that Sexy Beast would get around the track untroubled I would be picking it to win but not at this stage.

race 2: Legislate ( steadily improving after its lengthy break and hopefully will one day find the ability he showed when he first came to WA)

race 3: Idolize me ( should work to the front much easier than if did at northam when it was successful and has the draw advantage over To Transcend which is the horse with the most ability in the race)

race 4: Reddas Last ( represents good eachway value for punters in this event, has been racing collectively better classed pacers of late and has had tricky draws. Drawn slightly better here and if Tilly who has been driving very well can lob him in a forward position look for him to be right in the finish and in doing so bringing up a race to race driving double for a very deserving Peter Tilbrook.

Race 5: Country Change ( will work to the front after 100m and stack them up for a dash home. Represents a good drive for the Butt-Boy )

Race 6: Alzona ( looks very hard to toss in the small field and is a proven standing start performer unlike Motu Treasure who is a big watch having its first standing start. Motu treasure and Alzona both have sensational bursts of speed so with a safe start to both horses it should be a good battle to who can take the initiative and make its move first leaving the other to chase it down )

Race 7: Aussie Reactor ( I can see a little bit of pace going on early in this event with a horse like Can Return Fire possibly going to zap them out of the gate. AR should be able to drop out of this early from his bad draw and if he can reproduce the tough effort he showed last start and his solid runs before that he should be a prominent player.

Race 8: Barleys Hope ( I am Hoping :P that BH secures a good run in the trailing position behind Pacific Jaccka who has good speed from the machine. If she secures this position I think she will give a good sight with a bit of luck in running)

Race 9 : Helena Street ( Relax, I know you will be thinking this tipster is mad!!! lol The horse was racing well last time it was in work and if managed to find the front or was prominent in the sprint stand, it could provide a little bit of cheek at what should be decent odds. Trialled well recently and has been given time to recover from its fibralation. Worth a ticket eachway. Conte Centovalli does look tough to beat.

Race 10: Betta Crusa ( very difficult race but Hubba is a gem and I will pick him on that basis and the fact he is drawn to get a soft run whilst the favourite Red Success, I am hoping will be trapped wide and have to do a little too much work. I think the safest bet would be the bar for a night closer )

The next Box 1 Racing Members Day will be Sunday JAN 30TH

There will be a bus leaving from DOUBLEVIEW BOWLING CLUB on the morning at around 9am

It will then finds it way to BOX1 Headquarters (with some possible pickup points along the way) in Nambellup for a short stop before heading to PINJARRA

we will get together for an enjoyable day of racing and get together between fellow owners - alternatively you may wish to meet up at Pinjarra itself.

Hoping Pinjarra will come to the party and let us in for free and maybe even setup a marquee or owners area.

I will work out some costs later for the bus but should be affordable if we get enough people onboard.

Please let us know if you are interested in coming - feel free to invite fam,ily and friends etc.
