Stewards report from Kal 10/11/11

GENERAL

ROBS RABBIT (Jason Keys) was a late withdrawal from Race 4, at tonight?s race meeting, when Stewards inspecting the stable of Trainer Jason Keys, found this runner being stomach-tubed prior to the race meeting. Stewards took evidence from Mr Keys, in regards to the incident and notified him that an inquiry would be set for a date and time to be fixed. Stewards took swab samples from all of Mr Keys? runners at tonight?s event.

RACE 3: JAN DOYLE MS PACE (2150M)

SNAPPY RUFUS (Jason Keys) ? Driver was suspended for 21 days under the provisions of Rule 156(3)(b) for an incorrect whip action.

RACE 6: SCOTT & KRISTY BETTERIDGE CONDITIONED HANDICAP SS PACE (2518M)

Driver Jason Keys was questioned in regards to an incident racing out of the back straight on the final occasion, whereby the horse he was driving, BATAVIA JACK, shifted to a position one off the marker pegs after initially leading the field. After questioning Mr Keys, viewing the official film on a number of occasions and acting on their own observations, Stewards charged Mr Keys with improper driving issued under the provisions of Rule 168(1). The specifics of the charge were that, racing out of the back straight on the final occasion, Mr Keys has deliberately shifted the gelding away from the marker pegs to allow a clear run for his stable mate THREE DEEP POCKETS (Matthew Saw), which had been racing behind BATAVIA JACK. Mr Keys pleaded guilty to the charge and his reinsperson?s licence was suspended for a period of 3 months, to take effect immediately. Stewards ruled that this penalty would be served concurrently with the suspension, that Mr Keys had been given earlier in the night, for an incorrect whip action.

I really think there needs to be a change to this rule, back to something like it use to be. I've just read how G Williams recieved an 18 day suspension for "causing a horse to cover more groung than necessary". What a load of wank! If he wasn't in the 3 wide line at that stage then he wouldn't have won the race so it was absolutely necessary.

Real life come 3 wide at about the 1400. He got past Tartary Gladiator by the 1200. Davy Maguire was on Real Life's back at the back of the field before the move and tried to track him but had dropped of by very nearly a sulky's length. That horse had every chance to be on Real Life's back but wasn't filling it's position. What was Williams meant to do, look over his shoulder and go "Gee Real Life would be the perfect horse to trail into the race here but I better not move out becaue it looks like K Harper wants that position too so I better just stay in and wait for him to fill it".

Racing HAS to be competitive. If Williams had of staid in he doesn't win the race and I along with at least a half dozen of my mates I tipped it too along with everyone else out there who backed it would have been saying what a poor drive it was, how GP was now uncompetitive and people just wouldn't be tunning in on friday nights let alone betting. Harness racing in this state is all ready struggling enough as it is for competition with the domination of the big stables at the moment, the rules need to be there to optimise competition and as a result turnover not reduce it. If you can do something to remove the image of "the red hots" then why wouldn't you?

This isn't just a one off. I'm relatievly young (twenty eight) in terms of being a harness racing fan. I used to love the fact that compered to the eastern states our racing was so competitive. Now it's just gone down there boring sit sit sit ok SPRINT! path with half the field being held up. You don't need a bigger track and sprint lanes for competition. I actually think the small track use to creat competition because it makes the lead so valuable. But if the horses at the back and on the inside that are gong well aren't allowed to take the runs of the one's that aren't going well then the horse's who get forward first are just getting far to well rewarded.

My beef.

The following extract is from the Harness Racing NZ website.

Smoken Up judgement
- Result excerpt from written JCA decision

We (the JCA) are satisfied the charge brought against Mr Justice under Rule 1004 (2) has been proved and Smoken Up was connected with a breach of Rule 1004 (1) and (2) when it ran and won the Pacers Grand Final at the Inter Dominion Championship on 8 April 2011, for the purposes of Rule 1004 (8)

We (the JCA) think it appropriate to make it clear the finding the charge brought against Mr Justice as been proved does not carry with it any finding he personally was responsible for Smoken Up's elevated DMSO level when it was presented to race in the Pacers Grand Final on the evening of 8 April 2011. In opening the Informant's case on 23 August 2011 Mr Lange (prosecutor) expressly conceded there was no evidence Mr Justice was "complicit", as he put it, in the sense he personally, or any person with his knowledge , was responsible for the horse's elevated DMSO level and there has been no evidence put before us which suggests otherwise.

We now require submissions from Counsel as to penalty and costs which will include the costs of the Judiciary Control Authority which Mr Lange will have responsibility for. To that end the following timetable is to apply.

(i) Mr Lange is to file and serve on Ms Thomas (defence lawyer) his submissions on penalty and costs within one week of the date of this Decision;

(II) Ms Thomas will have a further week from the date of receipt of Mr Lange's submissions to file her submissions in reply;

(III) Leave is reserved to apply if for any valid reason there is difficulty with that timetable.

DATED at Wellington this 31st day of October 2011

Bruce Squire QC (Chairman) and Professor Geoffrey Hall.

1. M0 M2 F&M 2100m MS Jonty Bromac should have enough to cross from gate 4. She was restrained from the same gate last start as it was clear that Monarco Miss would have enough to hold up. Tonight she should find the front and win. Monarco Miss led and won well last start but the draw will ensure her pattern must change. She is good enough to figure in the finish. Disco Sulinka got back in similar company last week and finished impressively to win. It was a good trip she received but I can see her having to do a bit more in transit on this occasion. Lincoln Beach Girl was finishing well 3 wide last week but took the home bend like a camel. She can lob a position a bit closer to the lead tonight and be place hope. Tough race to start the night.
2.	C2+ 2100m MS What God Knows can get a soft lead here and that is exactly what is required for him to win. His last win was at Harold Park over a year ago now where he led from the start and got a couple of cheap sectionals. This race looks likely to pan out that way. Extreme Bromac is the obvious danger but SR5 is tough for any horse. There doesn?t look to be much pace and he will be forced to use a fair bit in the middle stages to stoke the field up which could be telling. Classy Candidate can fill a hole but only because he will trail the leader for the duration and Lombo Astreos should restrain and take the trail into the race provided by Extreme Bromac.
3.	M0 M1 2100m MS Zanardi drops in class here and will find the front without too much trouble. I expect Robberyto lob the death chair early and these two will dictate terms in what looks to be a leisurely run affair. Amongst Abbey looks to me to be the one who will bring the race alive and bring Zed into the race for a strong finish. I like horses that have had success on country tracks and come to the city soon after; winning form is good form.
4.	TM0+ 2100m MS The trotters are always tough and I would like to thank the club for making this the first leg of the quaddie. Cillas Earl looks the obvious danger; it can lead from gate 5 and dictate terms. Compressor should kick through and ensure that if Cillas does lead it will be well earned. As there will be pace on early the back markers can get a chance. I will be having a bit each way on Our Macarthur Park who will benefit from some early pace. River Red and Nicky Eileen can feature also. In short, go wide on your quaddie.
5.	M0+ 2096m SS Change of Tact is a solid stand start performer and the 20m head start on Artorius will be just enough should he step well. That is the quinella for mine. Hilton Mile High is a horse I have always liked but is very hard to catch; I expect him to do just enough to keep me interested. Dance Band was strong last week and didn?t lose any friends; he will get another cheque tonight. Courageous Ned is another who will be thereabouts in this company
6.	M2+ 1700m MS There are at least 4 of the 7 off the front line who want to lead here which plays right into the hands of the fast finishing Grinjaro. Milwood Meg can log a very fast mile rate and I expect her to get the front with Cromac Johnny happy in the end to take her wheel. Smart Cullen is a good chance of a place as he should get the leader?s back. But I like Grinjaro in a slick mile rate as he should only need to make one run.
7.	M0 M1 1700m MS I can?t go past Borat here. The draw is too good and his main danger, Wrongly Accused, has the outside of the backline so his best chance to win is to burn early and takes the breeze. He is in great form but I think this draw and the way the race will pan out falls right into Borat?s hands. Very nice. My Jasami will get into the race when Wrongly Accused makes his move and Soul Tana will play a part in the finish
8.	M0+ 2902m SS: Pacific Idol has had 6 attempts at this distance and never missed a place, shapes as a very good each way bet. Alzona comes off the 40m handicap but showed last week he is back in form. Glacier Star won the Marathon on 5 August so the conditions will not be a problem for the 8yr old. Davy Maguire gets the lead from G Hall Jnr as his choice of 3 in the race and should be thereabouts despite the 30m
9.	M0 M1 2100m MS Rebel Deago is the obvious leader here and it would be a surprise if it didn?t figure late in the call. I expect Chief Inanga to perform better from the backline draw as he will be forced to sit quietly early and make a later run; he was gassed early last week which didn?t suit. When the Chief makes his charge Goldanova will get moving and I like him as an each way proposition. He had a profitable few days in the Goldfields and comes back to headquarters full of confidence. The only thing that stops me from bacing him outright is he is 0/40 at GP.
10.	C2+ 2100m MS Twisk is the only one I can make a case for here and it isn?t a very strong one. At a push I will throw him in with Habemus, Turbo Gold, and Yagermeister for a quartet. One for the hangers on.
Good luck.

Here we go again with a quick look at friday.

R1: Hilarious Life to lead Chief Inanga to breeze. Think Ina Fashion might make a move a bit earlier this week giving either 7 or 12 a nice trail into it. Leaning Hilarious Life but have been stung by him already this campaign.

R3: Wouldn't be shocked to see Scruncher finally break the metro duck here. See him getting a nice run leaders back and with My Jasami and Onedin Crusader probably both being very well found in the market he could be good each way odds.

R4: Keen Janice Franco. I know it's form is uninspiring but so is the majority of form in this race. I can see her holding up and running a really nice race out in front. If anything will be running on it might be another mare in Secret Interlude. A good odds Harper quinella!

R5: No firm opinion but would love to see Fergie flying over the top of them. Obviously depends on some speed by the 1,2,3 but I can't really see it happning. Can see the 1 being unders here, leave me out.

R6: Another no firm opinion. Pablito a chance to lead all the way, Tartary Gladiator a chance to try zip him at the start. Davy Maguire and Captain Jack Sparrow racing very well.

R7: Mister Gallenti will lead and hand up to Soul Tana
and that will be the end of it. Looks a better race than that on paper but I can't see it being run any different so the resut seems obvious.

R8: Clash of the winter titans again! Back to Has The Answers fav 2100. Really wanted to be on Why Live Dangerously at his next start after last week but not in this! Was massive though. I know everything is in HSA favour from last week but I'll stick with Lombo Navigator again. He didn't disappoint me and he is somewhat of a favourite of mine, they are purely the reasons.

R9: Not sure how Siena Franco or Motu Treasure will get away, due to this I think Royal Opera may be holding the front tonight. With this I see Ohoka Dakota getting a lovely run leaders back and being a great each way chance.

R10: Interested to know here if Kyle Harper had the choice of drives on Rokewood and Governor Johnny. Rokewood was flashy last week, thought he might be able to work his way forward here and be hard to beat but with the 1 likely to hold up Governor Johnny should get a lovely run too. Like to see Protocol held up and try to trail Borat into it.

My Bets

R4 No1 Janice Franco 6/15
R10 No12 Protocol 15/36
R9 No1 Ohoka Dakota 4/4
Couple of sneaky quins R4 The harpers!
All up R4 No:1, R8 No9, R10 No12. 6 units win 12 units place.

See what I get for my $100!

You'd think Move Over will work his way around to the breeze and be very hard to beat. I will be having something on Classy Candidate purely because i've backed it at it's last 2. The 2500 is a very big query for it because it's been racing a bit hard but hopefully it can cross the 1 and then would be good to take a sit on something.

Do you think Heza Hudsen will hold the front or hand up in the 3rd?
its my favorite night of the week again, lets hope for some nice results and some good racing.

Race 1.

11.Nimrod-he'll find it tough again from the wide draw but did look to be in the finish after brezzing early then breaking at a vital stage and ruining all chances, hopefully he'll stay in his gear tonight
8.Car Fufty Four-he's a horse on the up and has untapped ability, has returned to racing in fine form with a 2nd first up then a strong win at bunbury when brezzing, will need luck but is more than handy
9.Nuclear Bunny-looked very unlucky when he went to the line hard held and still searching for a run last week, tonight he looks to have the same kinda run midfeild in the running line but just needs a little luck to play a part
1.Santerra-gets his chance to run in the money with the ideal draw,he's been consistant without been brillant but should get a soft run

Race 2.

10.Pole Dancer-this looks a very good race for her to win and its not a real strong lineup, brezzed last week and held on strong for a fighting third, she'll be put into the race and some point and look the winner at some stage.
2.Tell Or Die-has been in good country form for Wesley Andrews and from the good draw will be a handy chance at eachway odds, nice third after leading last start
5.Incendio-can be handy on her day and is a chance in a weaker event, did win 2 starts back and last week wasn't far away from the bad draw, good chance tonight and can win without surprising
7.Lincoln Beach Girl-is better than form reads but might be coming to the end of her preperation, finished midfeild at bunbury last start when got well back and tried to run on but the leaders got away with blue murder, rough chance again with the right run

Race 3.

1.The Hunter-looks very hard to beat from the ideal draw, chased very hard but the winner was far to good when he returned to racing 2 weeks back when finishing 2nd to fast play in fast time, looks to be the leader and be very hard to beat
8.Flaming Roadstar-didn't flatter last week but has the draw he seems to relish,he likes the rails and should get the cosy run behind the leaders and when held up for one sprint can finish off well, place chance though
3.Little Sonny Bill-back into the winners list last start when crossed early in one then hoped on the rails to brezze and still to prove to strong in the claimer last week, could be doing the same this week buthas a harder horse to over take, chance all day though in theses conditions
9.Sonny Armbro-caught my eye last week when he was well back only to run on strong in the latter stages to finish a close third,he'll be getting a soft run here and when held up for one sprint he could surprise

Race 4.

5.Chocolatto-has been a bit costly to punters of late but i'm not about to jump ship yet, didn't fire last week with all the horses holding up on the inside making it a tough run for this fella,i'm thinking the horses drawn inside might be looking for a sit which gives this guy his best chance in metro company, but last chance buddy
11.Protocol-didn't flatter first up in his first run at GP behind the tallented Ohokas Bondy but then should a glimps of form when an easy win in northam against moderate company, tough draw but is handy and improving with each outting
8.Whiskey Throttle-has the ideal draw and like most weeks three back the rails or if behind the leader is still a handy position, won well three starts back and is resuming after a little let up,place chance
1.Barney Oshanessy-is proably Choccy's worst enermy as he likes to roll along in his races and can over-race,if he leads he's a sneaky chance of placing in stronger company

Race 5.

2.Etruscan-is a very handy stand preformer making his city debut, was a very honest 3rd on not such a nice suitable day when ran into a few handy horses but tonight with a safe begining will be very hard to beat
4.Mister Gallenti- begins like a bullets which is always a plus in these types of races, ran an honest race last week when finishing 4th behind G'day Mate, chance again with a cosy trip
12.Pacific Idol-not the ideal mark but its hard to ignore his form, lead last week and proved way to good but tonight has to overcome the 20m and some handy types in front, but he's in great form and isn't hopeless
1.My Island Home-a stable change and a nice draw could see him been a big improver,he's a 50/50 beginner but if he steps safely could be the knockout horse at odds

Race 6.

5.Grinjaro-was brought undone as an odds on favorite when terrized in front but never gave up in finishing a close second in fast time,if captain jack sporrow annoys the leaders this could be a swoopers race
2.Ella Sue-tallented mare with her best draw to date, has been a model of consistancy in mares races and with Jnr choosing her infront on the stablemate leads me to this she'll lead and be hard to catch
1.Monarco Miss-lead last week and was to strong when winning second up since arriving in the state,i think she'll take a sit and have a cosy run, place chance though
11.Melbournian-a bit off and on of late but if the speeds on up front he does have a strong finishing burst, chance here.

Race 7.

7.Has The Answers-the distance last week was his undoing but gave a great sight on the to grabed right on the line, back to his prefered distance and will be near enough impossible to get past as always
2.Alzona-finally gets a draw to play a part,he'll be hoping to have a sit behind hassie which could see him a winning chance without surprising
5.Eastwood Fire-a horse with loads of ability but a few issues with soundness but in saying that on his night he can be brillant and can be competitive here, will find it hard to win but place looks the ideal way to go
1.Touch Me Toes-has the draw to figure in the minor placings and hasn't been in to bad of form,he's the best of the rest

Race 8.

2.Royal Opera-loves the stands and i think he could be good value to upset a few fancied types here, gave a great sight last week when lead but run down by the muched improved G'day Mate
5.Dundee Three-has been very impressive since joining the bondy stable with 2 from 2 this state, very strong last week when callenged and still proving to strong,he'll be hard to beat with a safe beginning
7.Why Live Dangerously-nice run last start in the marathon when getting clear late to flash home for a flying third,a same preformance will see him play a part again
12.Move Over-another tallented type who has a hurdle to overcome but winning form is good form, lead last start and proved to good, tonights a little tougher but always a chance

Race 9.

7.Hilarious Life-show some improvement last start when an eyecatching second here last week, this is a very open race and copuld be his chance to open his account since arriving this state
11.Bruce Almighty-probably the best horse in the race but has a torrid draw to over come, did finish close up at bunbury last saturday night and was a model of consistancy before that, will just need luck
8.The Feather Foot- a natural front runner not blessed with the right draws last week and tonight, but has class and with the right run could be dangerous
4.Ohoka Dakota-an improving type for the turvey stable since arriving in his care, eachway in an open event

Rsce 10.

9.Little Boy Blue-has been in very good form with a all the way win at bunbury first up and next 2 starts finishing runner up to the highly promising Western Cullen, that form reads well for this event but the draws a tad tricky but lewis has gone with him over the stablemate which is a good lead
1.Dash La Rock-lead in a 2yold event here 3 starts back and proved to good at good odds,he can lead again tonight and be very handy turning for home
2.Hermattjesty Mullan-very consistant type who's another if found the front would be hard to run down, lead at northam and proved to good in winning but a good distance, rising in class but will be in the finish again
6.El Sufficent-peter anderson has this 3yold running very well from bad draws and this looks again a tough task for a tough horse again tonight, but does run on well

Best Bet-Has The Answers.

Best Eachway-Grinjaro.

Best Roughie-Royal Opera.

Quaddie.

5/6/7/11
1/2/4
2/5/11
2/7

good luck :)

well after a black cat stole all the money last week with only 1 single priced winner we'll be looking for a few winners tonight :)

Race 1.

12:Jumbo Operator-i think tonight he's second up,he has loads of class and should account for this lot even though he has the 12.His first up run was gutsy, had the 20m came wide, brezzed and was just to strong,he should be fitter.
11.Cromac Johnny-muched improved effort last week when he brezzed and finished a strong second, the draws a little tricky but has to be a chance here.
10.Mattnamaras Band-has been super consistant without winning and did look a shade unlucky last week, with a shade of luck he's another who can be a player
4:Parsonemby-strong winner over the tallented Artic Fire last start when she found the front and ran away with it,that was against her own sex and tonight she's up in class but has claims

Race 2.

12.Nimrod-won very well in the wet conditions at pinjarra on monday and i also think the draw is an advantage over his stablemate.I think he'll go foward and prove hard to beat at some stage.
4.Nuclear Bunny-another who won well last outing when was mid bunch with speed on up front and ran over the top late,if he finds the front he could be hard to run down.
8.Lewis Hamilton-has been very impressive since coming to WA and he has a win over his stablemate Nimod, this is a tricky draw but the 2500 suits and if he can find the gaps he'll be hard to hold out
6.Nik Nac Nero-a very consistant 3yold without been outstanding, but on his night he can be a knockout chance.lead and won as he liked at bunbury last week but this is a rise in class.

Race 3.

1.Little Sonny Bill-best draw since god created earth, improved last week when 3 back the rails and got home ok to finish 3rd,he has the draw and if he can't win tonight he never will.
2.Arma Harris-has just droped his form of late but the draws helps and will look for a soft run to play a part,is a claimer contender
8.On All Fours-a drop in class saw him return to the winners list last outing,he should get a lovely trip just off the leaders here
3.Flaming Roadstar-consistant place getter who realy runs a bad race in these conditions, chance again in an open race.

Race 4.

6.Chocolatto-reports outta NZ that he has good gate speed and if so will be very hard to beat if he found the front and this is his best draw to date.Ran 5th last week when was late wide and was trying to chase the tearaway leader.Looks suitable tonight
1.Colour Of Money-i have to agree he could be the big improver here and wasn't digraced last week when a good third to I've Dunarunner, should get the run of the race and if last week was no fluke he'll play a part
3.Gate Bender-very disappointing of late but should we right him off, mmmm last chance for me from the good draw and we know he's better than recent form suggests
12.Soul Tanner-hard draw but good horse who has to come into claims here tonight, with a little luck and speed up front he could be rattling home late.

Race 5.

1.Grinjaro-finally has the draw to be hard to beat and he has the gate speed to hold them out early.Just did to much work last week when wide for a long way and they ran a 1.56,doesn't have to do that tonight
2.Elite Under Fire-i don't think stands were his go and his form suggests i'm right as he has began badly most attempts, back to the mobile tonight and i reckon we'll see a muched improved preformance
8.Jack Cantell-should get the run of the race and can bob up at good odds time to time, was a handy effort 3 runs back and since has has bad draws, great place chance in this
6.Franco Renegade-would he give anything to get a good draw, but i'll stick with him,i have faith he'll pay me back soon.Has to do alot of work in his runs but should be finishing home late again

Race 6.

7.Davy Maquire-this is a very hard race but he's been in very good form of late, has just been sitting off the pace and with a good turn off foot he's been finishing over the top off them and i can see that happening tonight with a good start
4.Pacific Idol-grand stand start preformer who if he can find the front tonight always proves hard to run down, did win off 60m on the country 2 starts back and with a front line draw that proves good form
6.Im Grant Lea-now with ron huston and reports he's working well, was a good back to back winner in the claimers before finishing 6th last outting, another with claims in an open race
2.El Padrino-star youngster who at the moment is a shade of his former self,i think he's another on his last chance but i wish he'd find that form cause he adds interest

Race 7.

2.Lombo Navigator-one of my favs and has the draw to win tonight,he has gate speed and could make Hassie work early over the longer distance and then take the sit and run home strong, did this 2 starts back and last week was screaming for a run well held up badly late,he's classy
3.Has The Answers-The iron horse just continues to win and proved last week he could come off the back line and win well,he'll look the winner coming to the home corner again tonight but distance is always in the back of ya mind
9.Rocket Reign-just behind the placegetters of late but could get his chance if the 2 more fovoured horses have a little battle up front.Should get a good run through the feild here and is not hopeless
4.Albert Jaccka-very consistant in this grade and could be the knockout horse, got along way back on the rails last week before finishing strongly when clear to finish third.

Race 8.

2.Pole Dancer-tough race to call, ran an honest 2nd behind Fairly Powerful on monday when trailing the leader, should get another run like that tonight
1.Monarco Miss-should strip fitter since arriving in WA,was a tough run last week and looked in need of the outting, much better than form suggests and looks a big improver tonight
8.Disco Sulinka-Has been racing well and was rewarded for that when deadheating for 1st at pinjarra on monday when wide late and finished strongly, should get a soft run here
4.Easton Swift-honest effort when resuming from a spell when well back early the got a trail into the race to finish a close third, should be fitter for the outting and does has ability

Race 9.

7.G'day Mate-has loved the moved from mobiles to stands.Has been finishing full of steam over the last couple of runs and looks to be close to a win with an once of luck,if he can step safely he'll be hard to hold out
5.Royal Opera-another who loves the stands and is a fast starter, has lead at his last 2 outtings for a win and second and with a same start tonight will be hard to run down
8.Laser Edge-starts like a bullet which will see him handy early,he'a another to have good form last 2 starts in stands and he'll be eachway all day with luck
11.Mister Gallenti-lead early then handed up to his stablemate then never got clear to finish third,he's like the rest and enjoys the stands and has a fast gettaway.

Race 10.

7.Western Cullen-has a touch of class and has won well within himself at his first 2 runs this state, lead last start and proved to strong to his muched improved stablemate, looks like he'll go foward again tonight.
2.Little Boy Blue-he's going well, lead and handed up to his more classy stablemate but fought back strongly to finish a close 2nd,that followed an all the way win at bunbury, could win this but will be hard
5.Itz Darknstormy-retired at his first run from a spell then followed it up when way back early and got home well when finishing 4th to the more fovoured 2 tonight, should be fitter and improving
8.Dreadlock Rockstar-doesn't know how to run a bad race and has finished 3rd behind the 2 fovoured tonight, should get a soft run and sticks on well.

Best Bet-Western Cullen.

Best Eachway-Davy Maquire.

Best Roughie-Franco Renegade.

Quaddie.

1/3/6/8/12
1/2
4/6/7/9
2/3

Good Luck :)

its my favorite time of the week to put the feet up and enjoy another night at the Park, looks a good program with alot of chances ina lot of very even races,.

Race 1.

7.Cromac Johnny-this is much more suitable than last week when began badly from a stand and never recovered, before that ran some very good races against some nice horses,a little hard from the draw but has the class.
10.Sandler-should strip alot fitter after finishing 7th last week first up from a spell, doesn't have the greatest of draws but has ability.
5.Davy Maguire-lead and proved to strong last start and will be hoping to find the front tonight to give him the best of chances, always eachway in this type of event
1.Captain Jack Sparrow-returned to the track after a 2 and a half year layoff and looked like he needed the run, will be tough again tonight from the good draw but if tony can produce some magic he could be a rough place hope at odds with a soft run.

Race 2.

6.Siena Franco-very hard to go pass any Brew runner at the moment and this filly is in sparkling form, lead all the way last outing at pinjarra and does posess the natural speed to lead here and cause a few havoc.
7.Easton Swift-a very tallented filly who won 7 races last season.Warmed up for this when winning a byford trial in 1.57 on sunday, will be hard to beat if fit.
11.Rebecca Amy-another filly with alot of class but looks to been a little flat of late, was an impressive winner at bunbury 4 starts ago and that was followed by a solid 2nd behind Artimis Belle,a repeat of those efforts see her with a winning chance.
5.Powerful Question-consistant filly who didn't put her best form foward last start, but that did follow some honest efforts, chance with a good run.

Race 3.

12.Chocolatto-if theres a horse that can over come the tough draw its this fella and he's used to doing it.Ran a great race last start when 5th after doing alot of work but just kept coming and you can see him doing that again if he finds the brezze early on,always a chance in any race
4.Im Elmer Fudd-hasn't shown up in his last 2 but can make up for it here if he can get a cheap run up front.
1.Mystic Arc-nice draw and has been in honest form just behind the pace getters of recent times, nice 5th behind the tallented Ohokas Bondy last week, should get the run of the race here.
10.Master Matallica-heres another who's run some honest races without looking the winner, should be close to peak fittness and in an even race will need the breaks but has the ability to do so.

Race 4.

12.Gate Bender-has been racing in stronger company and gets his chance to win in town tonight, was a very solid effort when brezzing and finishing 3rd to stablemate Ohokas Bondy last week, big chance tonight.
10.Powerful Albert-this also looks a little easier on recent efforts but whould have injoyed a better draw but in saying that is not hopeless from the back line but will need luck.
8.Julius Supreme-3 back the rails at GP can have its advantages but will still need luck.place show here though
1.Heeza Top Dog-has the right draw and could hold up early, can't see him winning but a place from the draws looks the better bet.

Race 5.

11.All The Way-a lovely little stand start horse who has been muched improved since joining Nathan Turvey, has the 20m to attened with but starts so smoothly should make up early ground.Nice eye catching run last start from well back to finish 6th to Jumbo Opeator.
4.G'day Mate-is jumping outta his skin since moving to the stands and was one of the runs of the year when last at the bell before thundering home from no-where to finish 4 behind Jumbo Operator.Big Chance Again
2.Galveron-can start like a bullet and if he found the front could prove hard to run down, did run 2 thirds first up but has been uplaced since, chance tonight though in an even feild.
5.Mister Gallenti-another who can fly the start and has been in consistant form since arriving this start, not sighted last week but can improve here tonight.

Race 6.

7.Fanco Renegade-just doesn't get the draw he likes but if a classy horse on his night and soon i've got to get it right with this horse lol doesn't finished to far behind them of late but as always will need a little luck.
9.Xupan Three-not a bad draw and should get a lovely run though the feild, recent efforts have been very good and a repeat of those's see's him play a part.
1.Go Some More-2 wins from past 3 have been full of merit and has the draw to play a part again tonight.
8.Ella Sue-classy mare who's been in good form since resuming from a spell, doesn't have a great draw and is racing the boys tonight but in saying that she has a touch of class and could be there abouts with a soft run.

Race 7.

10.Albert Jaccka-this could be the race for him,i see fast play and Hassie at some stage putting some speed into the race and he could be the horse coming home late.First up run was terrific and a repeat of that isn't out of the question.
2.Fast Play-has been running in claimers but on last weeks brillant preformace in winning as he liked he'd have to be respect ed here tonight,he looks the likely leader early on and will cause a few headaches for some.
6.Rocket Reign-is another that could benifit if theres some pace on early but has been consistant in this company for a while, always a chance.
12.Has The Answers-draw has to have people questioning can he do it from there,we;ll we can count on him going up for a look for the lead at some stage and if he can find the front he's always a chance, tougher tonight though but he's the iron man of WA.

Race 8.

5.Magical Mary-3 wins and 2 seconds from 5 carear starts states she has some ability even though she's rising in class tonight she has to be respected on times and form.
2.Annual Vaction-could be the value in the race, loves to lead and isn't a push over when she gets her own way up front, back to her own sex see's her with a rough hope
9.Remember Me Bel-in consistant form and you can see he been placed just off the speed and with the right run could be finishing over the top here
11.Pole Dancer-very tallented on her night, has a horrid draw but if we see the real pole dancer she's always a chance.

Race 9.

1.Nicky Ellen-has been consistant in the trotting ranks of late and gets his chance from the pole tonight
8.Our Shoe In-better thanrecent efforts suggest but has been his own worst enermy recently, chance if he behaves
9.Cillars Earl-strung some good form before recent efforts but has been coming off tough marks, chance tonight in a smaller feild and closer to the front liners
2.Melpark Sunset-always handy in races like this and is a safe stepper, chance to finish in the placings

Race 10.

2.Blissful Cullen-muched improved last start at bunbury in finishing second to little boy blue, who went on to finish a close second to Western Cullen, has to be a chance if the form guide holds up here
7.Flirtalicious-very consistant and deserves to break through soon, can over come the bad draw
8.Hemispherical-lead and proved to strong last outting but harder from the draw but winning form is always good form in a race like this, should get a soft run also
3.The Evil One-looks a place chance in this.

Best Bet-Siena Franco.

Best Eachway-All The Way.

Best Roughie-Lincoln Beach Girl.

Quaddie.

6/8/9/10/12
2/4/7/10/11
1/7/8/9
2/6/7/10/11

good luck all :)
